Noah final gets off the Ark, and the first thing he does is build and altar and offer a sacrifice.

We cover the first few verses in Mark 14 including Judas' turning point of betrayal but focusing especially on Mary of Bethany.

We finish looking at the bibles prophetic timeline. We see how it applies to our lives today and the great hope we have that Jesus is coming soon.

In Genesis 6 we get a glimpse into the Antediluvian, or pre-flood world, and the picture is not a good one. The bible says it was a place filled with violence and sin. We take this Fathers Day to look at the tough father child relationships in the bible, the fathers that God wants us to be, and the Father that God is and wants to be to us all!

We see the lines drawn from the line of Cain, and the line of Seth. We see how these family lines develop in history and God's redemptive plan. We're encouraged to draw the lines in our own lives for Jesus.

Mark 13 contains what is known as the Olivet Discourse, which is Jesus' teaching on the end times. This will be the first part of our study of this portion of scripture and biblical eschatology in general.

We look at the sacrifice God made to clothe Adam and Eve, and the sacrifice Abel made that pleased God. Both of which point to God's plan for salvation and ultimately Jesus.

We see Jesus call our attention to three things: the Messiah in the Hebrew Bible, the hypocrisy of the scribes, and the generosity of a poor widow.

Genesis chapter 3 verse 15 is referred to as the Protoevegelium, literally the first gospel. As soon as mankind falls into sin and rebellion, God lays out His plan for redemption. We look at that and more as we continue our study in Genesis.

We look at Jesus answer to perhaps life's most important question: What is the most important commandment? You may be surprised at His answer.

Everything up to this point has been "very good" according to God. However in Genesis chapter three we get the entrance of sin and death into the world. We look at one of the few times in the bible the words of satan are recorded for us and learn about rejecting that voice.

We learn about Jesus' parable of the vineyard and look at three traps they tried to lay for Him, "to catch Him in His words." These are the same traps that will be laid for christians today, but we can avoid them like Jesus did.

In our study we cover the last of the seven days of creation. We spend time looking at the bibles account of the creation of mankind and consider what it means to be made in the image and likeness of God.

We look at why Jesus cleansed the temple. God intended that all people would have an opportunity to worship Him, but the religious leaders put barriers. We also learn about prayer and see Jesus not giving in to the whims of people.

We look at he first six days of creation and end with looking at how God still separating the light form the dark today. Follow along with the presentation here

If you were to give this message another title it might be: Children, Idols, and Promises. We spend much out time talking about what Jesus meant when he said for such is the kingdom of heaven. We also look at the rich young ruler, the disciples response, and the promise that Jesus gives to those who leave everything to follow Him.

In this section of the gospel of Mark Jesus is asked specifically about divorce. We take this opportunity to learn about what the bible teaches about marriage in general and the reason marriage is so important.

We look at the truth and effectiveness of the resurrection of Jesus. It is foretold in the scriptures, historically reliable, and logically cohesive. Jesus is alive and that affects everything in our life.
