A startling revelation about the tikanga of the kupu Whaikōrero. This is an in depth kōrerorero about kupu etymology focussing on the word "whaikōrero", what people think it means, what it actually means, and how these meanings come to be.

The hosts dive into a fresh batch of listener pātai — from how to appropriately koha kai to a nearby marae, to the lingering mystery in the story of Reitū and Reipae, and finally a whakaaro about the kupu waka when used as a metaphor and how that affects its place within the ā/ō categories.
