Member for Lismore and Minister for Recovery Janelle Saffin joined me from Sydney to talk about the CSIRO flood mitigation report (NRRI) and the $3 million in funding from the state and federal governments to scope the work involved in building 10 detention basins.

As Lismore City Council does its initial investigation on Blakebrook Quarry being turned into a Regional Waste Facility, a Facebook group called Blakebrook - Lismore Mega Tip Information Group has begun.
