We continue our ALE Preview Series of bringing on fans of the OTHER teams in the division. This week, we have lifelong Yankees fan Nick Piscopo on to discuss the O's and Yankees offseason's, as well as what the future holds for two teams who look to be competitive for the foreseeable future.

The Orioles started making moves by adding a few MiLB deals, as well as signing Kyle Gibson to 1 year $10M. Fans are a bit frustrated with the slow start, but it’s a long offseason. However, big names are quickly flying off the board.

Drew Rom makes his second appearance on the pod to discuss his past season, as well as his addition to the Orioles 40 man roster. Drew has been a rising star inside the Orioles system within the last few seasons and is in a great position to make his MLB debut during the 2023 season. Josh is absent once again but Ryan and Brad are joined by the outstanding hosts of the Baltimore Beatdown Podcast, Jake Louque and Spencer Schultz for a Baltimore sports crossover episode. We discuss getting back into baseball after taking some time away and what it means for the city for the Orioles to be winning again, before a minor Ravens 2022 season preview.

Brad and Ryan discuss the past week of O’s baseball, which included a fake callup, and a couple of series where the O’s showed they can handle the beatable teams rather easily. Stay tuned for next week’s episode where we have a very special guest appearance!

Trey Mancini was traded for 2 RHP prospects and the fanbase and players alike have had pretty strong reactions. The Orioles will have half the day of August 2nd to make their final trades, in which we would like to see them move perhaps a couple more pieces.

The All-Star Break is over, and the O’s got off to a hard fought series loss to the Yankees. Ramon Urias has emerged as something of value and it needs more attention. We also go over draft results, and Luis Valdez of course.

The Orioles had a big night at the draft and we bring on beloved O’s Twitter user @OriolesFanProbz aka Ryan to talk about it. O’s took Jackson Holliday 1st overall to the surprise of many, and rounded out day one with solid pickups in Dylan Beavers, Max Wagner, and Jud Fabien. We also discuss the general state of the team going into the all-star break after a hard fought series in St. Pete.

Brad is back and the O's are HOT. Pablo Lopez rumored to the O's. Jorge Lopez is an All-Star. The trade deadline is approaching. The draft is near. Vibes have not been this good in Baltimore in a LONG time.

Ryan and Josh are joined by Freddie, who runs @MASNOriolez on Twitter. We go into: Jorge Mateo is overrated, the depth chart is reaching a breaking point, the wild week for O’s baseball, and much more.

Josh and Ryan discuss the recent success of the Orioles, leading to their first winning month since August of 2017 as well as how Adley Rutschman seems to have settled in at the MLB level. They also discuss why MLB prospects and draft picks are seemingly more difficult to predict and the factors that lead to that.

The Orioles slugged their way into Toronto, where we see Kyle Stowers play in his first MLB game. We also touch on the consistency of Tyler Wells. Heston Kjerstad also made his pro debut this week, and Dean Kremer has made it back to Baltimore.

After two and a half weeks of silence due to our own incompetence we are back! And we missed a lot! In this episode we discuss the debut of Adley Rutschman, make our takes on Cedric Mullins’ early struggles, give Austin Hays his due credit and plenty of other topics!

After our overwhelmingly positive episode last week, the O’s took a nosedive. Losing 6 of the last 7, they finally broke through today on a walk-off homerun from Santander. We also do our drawing for the Austin Hays Bat Giveaway!

The Orioles have been playing competent baseball for weeks now, and the fanbase has largely taken notice. With the pitching staff’s newfound competence, and this scrappy offense, the team is primed for the blue chip prospects that are knocking on the door to the show.

Lots of positive news throughout Birdland this week! From a series win against Boston to the successful rehabs of Adley and DL Hall, this was perhaps the first episode in show history where a negative topic was not a segment. Things are changing quickly, as Kyle Bradish debuted last week and more roster moves are surely on the horizon.

Ryan has been dug out of the ditch and joins us this week. Lots of exciting stuff happening around the organization, including the debut of Kyle Bradish. Adley Rutschman also began his rehab stint, as well as DL Hall.

Brad and Josh analyze the two recent series against NYY and OAK. This pitching staff is on fire, but the bats… not so much. We air frustrations over the pace that prospects are being handled, as well as a conspiracy theory about MLB baseballs. Ryan was too sleepy/in a ditch to join us this week.
