A special afternoon edition of #TalkSpicy.  My MLK One game is all it takes.  Retired QBs better check their resumes.  Champion one coordinator, champion them all.

I take this opportunity to get ahead of the Jalen Hurts pendulum swing. The same swing we seem to see with every black quarterback in the NFL.

I discuss the drama over Ja Morant not giving a young fan wearing the opposing team's jersey a high five and my desire to go back to a time where there was beef while competing.

As we approach the football offseason, I talk about the need to be a student of the game. Not only as participants in sports but as those that cover the sports. Education is key to improve and the fastest route to respectability.

The classic CFP Championship game can't even cover the stench of black Monday in the NFL. A firing that made no sense and I ask the question why does it have to be so hard for black coaches.

Today I touch on the difference players and coaches DID NOT make in their teams. I also, once again, point out the hypocrisy in how major media outlets and pundits on social media cover black coaches and quarterbacks in this league.

I talk about it all depends on how you feel about the messenger and the people the messenger is talking about more than the truth.

I talk about how good intentions, in sports and obviously in life can have the opposite result of what you want.

I talk about why it seems so difficult for people to tell the truth especially in sports.

I discuss Lebron James and what he is doing right now in the NBA at his age. I also talk about how some people are just built different and why it is not simply a cliche'

I talk about the idea that everything has to be done perfectly or people want it replaced. Whatever happened to working to improve or get the desired outcome. Especially in recruiting

I talk about the bowl season and why these bowl games matter.

I talk about how we are so quick to devalue difficult accomplishments like Russell Westbrook's triple double. I also talk about why I love women's basketball at the same level of men's basketball.

I talk about the idea of some teams/players receiving credit for wins while others are not.

Today I talk about the blurred lines of a journalist. What the profession use to be, what it has become, and why I still love it.

I talk about how having too many presents makes you not appreciate each present you have and why sports tend to follow that same logic.

I talk about this new social media world of recruiting where it seems as if college coaches are trying to flex more and more every day when they discuss these recruits social media pages.

I talk about the ridiculous way that Lamar Jackson is covered and scrutinized in the NFL. I also talk about how Jalen Hurts QBR has turned me completely off from the metric.

I talk about NBA's decision to allow more players to be signed for teams dealing with COVID issues and why it is not fair that the NFL pushes back games.

Stop stacking black QBs. Tyler Huntley had another good game for the Ravens and people took the chance to discredit Lamar Jackson. Plus the amount of hate on Deion Sanders is ridiculous.

Today I talk about positive and negative motivation in my life. I discuss how motivation can lead you to a path you choose instead of one someone else chooses for you.
