This morning we were joined by Mark Conner, who finished off our series on Resilience. Mark spoke on our worries and how they can become like a prison around us and how we can STOP them from controlling our lives.

Jono spoke about how your struggle can become your superpower & that through community we can use our struggles to help others. Jono was joined by Alex and Ebony two of our wonderful youth leaders who shared their own journeys with struggles.

The fear of rejection is looking at the gap of who we are not, rather than who we are. Our identity is Christ is what helps us to build resilience through rejection, because our identity is in the Father, not in what others think or say about us.

How do we build resilience in the next generation? Jono O'Neill started our new series with a great message on preparing rather than protecting the next generation. To teach them resilience in the every day of life.

The final week of our Irresistible Church Series, Tim spoke on our 5th core value Grace, the divine mandate GO and make disciples. We celebrated with the Dedications of Jack and Wyatt & baptisms of April, Nigel & Charlie.

Week 3 of our series The Irresistible Church, Tim focused on the value of gathering and the fellowship of differents.

Week 1 of our new series 'The Irresistible Church' where we are discovering the 5 core values of our church. Today we talked about Growth "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Today Tim unpacked the keys to our own growth as followers of Christ.

Wrapping up our series on emotionally, healthy, spirituality. Jono talked about creating a ‘Rule for life’ and creating space for spiritual healthy habits.

Guest Speaker Stu Cameron unpacked James's letter to the tribes of Israel and explained how the trials we face help shape us to become more like Jesus and an emotionally mature adult.

How will you deal with grief? This week Jono O'Neill explored how Job and Martha dealt with the grief in their lives. They learnt that out of heartache and loss; God can and will bring life and growth.

Sometimes in life to go forward, we must go back. Andrew Hill teaches us that Jesus will reveal past hurts and baggage that we must work through with Jesus in order to become more of the person God created us to be.

Jono brought us a message around Proverbs 4:23 - “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” He challenged us to make time everyday this month to sit with God for 5-10 mins each day and reflect on our emotionally wellbeing.

Eternity with Christ means we are never alone, we get to go through the highs and lows of life with God by our side. Life often seems lonely, but with eternity set in our hearts we get to experience the fullness of the Kingdom of God in our everyday.

When we come into the presence of Jesus we often become aware of our dysfunction and sin. Instead of trying to hide the baggage, Jesus says "do not be afraid". He sees us fully and wholly and does not want out shame to get in the way of our relationship with him. In him we find grave love and forgiveness.

Living in the valleys of life we can often find ourselves hearing without understanding and being spiritually and metaphorically blind. We need to climb mountains to be awakened by God. God wants us to truly open our eyes and hearts to see, hear and receive him. So that we can come down from the mountains with God and live our lives awakened in the valleys of the everyday.

Eternity starts on this earth, not when we leave it.

GIANTS OF FAITH: The last week of the Lanterns of Grace, Jono summed up the main themes of this series Kingdom Thinking, Biblical Community & Missional Engagement. Also looking at modern day examples of Giants of Faith and how to look out for them in our everyday life.

Marcy Paynter from Gateway Church shares how the kingdom of heaven is present right here and now, we simply need to open our eyes to see it. She unpacks some of the parables of Jesus and gives them modern day equivalents we can all relate to. She is a phenomenal creative who shares the love of Jesus anywhere she can.

The entirety of our faith can be summed up in four words. Love God, Love people. God has opened doors for us to walk through to deliver the love of God. The soil is fertile, we often just keen trying to sow inot hard soil, trying to get through doors that are closed. But God has open spaces ready for us, where are the open doors in your world? Maybe we need to navigate unchartered territory… and Just LOVE. Love will always inconvenience us, it's not fluffy and pretty, but is hard work. But seeing the love of Jesus come and seek and save the lost is always worth it. Love costs us, but salvation makes it worth it.
