Tim explores the complexities of our faith, in what God can do and what he will do, and where we have decide what we are going to do.

"Love is the conversation we care most about, but it’s one of the things hardest to do.” This week Jono, Sharon and Michael talk about how we can engage in meaningful and healthy conversations and how to love through disagreements.

This week Jono sat down with Sharon and Matt and had a very honest conversation about self worth, mental health and God’s grace. Together, they compare the strength of our self-worth when we place it in God with it’s fragility when self-worth is based upon things like work and relationships.

This week Tim sat down with Sharon and Mary and discussed how they’re hitting reset in this season. In the midst of social isolation we’re becoming acutely aware that technology cannot replace face to face connection. They discussed how we can use this time to hit reset and create new rhythms and habits that will energise us and allow us to have the connections we need.

Jono, Tim and Sharon chat about how Jesus was a friend of sinners. Our culture has been having an interesting conversation around sin – not that people use that little 3 letter word. But as a nation over the past week we certainly had a conversation around sin, judgment and mercy. This Sunday we are going to explore what Jesus might have to say about sin, judgment and labelling.

This week Jono sat down with Sharon and a special guest and discussed the Promise of Easter. They look at John 10:10 which says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. Together they chat about what this verse means and how it looks across 3 different generations.

This week Jono sat down with Tim and Sharon and discussed the topic of ‘Letting Go’. They discussed how we need control to achieve purpose and express our creativity, skill and ability. Don't let fear stop the love of God from flowing. In this season of fear and uncertainty, God asks us to still extend love, to not disconnect from community, but to love anyway.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and Love your neighbour as yourself." If we’re honest, many of us tend to serve just to please others or perhaps to prove something to ourselves or other people. But if we are to serve without insecurity or arrogance, we must first understand our identity and our purpose. Jesus wants us to be free to serve.

Our Vision series for 2020 kicked off with a message on giving. Do you want to make a difference, an impact, a change in the lives of our neighbours. God calls us to love our neighbours through sacrifice and giving. Making a difference can really be so simple.

Tim continued our series looking at the story of Joseph He shared with us how dreams will rarely unwrap the way we expect, but still the importance holding onto the dreams that God gives us.

Jono continued taking us through the story of Jospeh. He shared with us how Jospeh didn’t view his success in terms of when he reached the final goal, but found ways to act wth faith in the process and celebrate the journey.

Jono started our new series By Design. He spoke about how to use different filers to view our dreams and discern if they are of us or of God.

Emma Dobson brought the word this morning on what it means to be a life long learner. She shared through her testimony how she has learn't to be a christian and not just a church attender. Listen to the podcast to hear how.

Get Better or Go Bitter. Holly shared through her amazing testimony of how during her lowest of times God met her where she was at and helped her to get better rather than go bitter about her circumstances.

Toby shared about his own story overcoming doubts and indecision to living a full life with Jesus.

Lachlan Jesson started off the new year teaching us how to love and pray for our enemies. The power that prayer can have in times of persecution can be transformational within our lives. Let's start off this new year in love and pray for others.

We ended our Christmas Series this week with Jono bringing us a message about the greatest gift that was ever given and how to extend more grace to others this season.

Taking time to reflect and have a spirit of gratefulness is so important. This is a great time of year to reflect, and Pastor Tim reminded us of the many things we have to be grateful for.
