This early, I will mention that I have no hatred to the actress in question whatsoever. At the same time, I want to expound where the dislikers of such behavior from social media-privileged individuals are coming from: something that some of us do not at least strive to understand.

Where are we coming from matters when we are dealt with a controversial man. Disclaimer: as always this is more of a perspective to consider, not as a way to tolerate any wrongdoing deserving punishment under the law.

Why wanting to be a person who is never offended is a problematic thing.

Let's talk about guts, and why it should not be shameful to have one per se.

Sounds shallow, right? Thus, it's petty. However, hear me out why.

We may not be a bully, but we enable bullying. How do we do this? Let me talk about it.

We often hear or read these lines towards people who we don't want association with, at least in that situation. We forgot to return to the words themselves. Let me talk about it.

Out of our dislike for the proud, the arrogant, and self-centered, we circled our way around to still satisfy our need for validation and/or enjoy the blessings and achievements we had. Unfortunately, it leads us to humblebragging, and it has a modern-day acceptable version of it.

Do we really deserve good things from other people? In this busy world, we tend to answer this with simplification, not by reflection, not even introspection. May the expounded answer add value to the listeners.

My reflection on this topic.

There are times where we only say a person is smart, understanding, and kind when we wanted to correct or rebuke them even if sometimes they were only pushed to the proverbial wall. However, we devalued their "being better" by ignoring their insights and good deeds. Let us talk about it.

Karma, justice, sowing-and-reaping, and many more. Name it. The feelings towards it are tricky, sometimes making us wrong. Let's talk about it.
