This past Sunday we looked at  Luke 16:1-15  and the parable of the shrewd/dishonest manager. This is indeed a puzzling story, as Jesus commends a man for being dishonest. Jesus gives is using a shocking example to say that if a shady person knows how to plan for the future, how much more-so should we, as residents of the Kingdom of God. -Sermon from 03/10/2024

This past Sunday we looked at  Hebrews 10:19-25  as we looked back and celebrated the good things we have done and accomplished as a church last year. This past Sunday we looked at  Ezekiel 37:15-28  as we began to explore our Advent series looking at prophetical promises of peace. Ezekiel told of a coming day when there would true peace in the land and we live on the other side of part of this promise. We spent our time talking about how your church building can help show and teach what your church body believes and values. This past Sunday we looked at  Romans 12:9-21  and explored the theme of caring about peace as being an active call to make peace. Most of us are not necessarily called to start up new groups helping with peace and justice, but we can certainly support the work of various groups doing this through our prayers, our finances and sharing in and about their endeavors. - Sermon from 9/10/2023
