We review Attack on Titan: A Sound Argument (E69). There’s a lot of tension in this episode (some regular, some sexual) between Hange and Eren, Hizuru and Paradis, Historia and her life choices, Sasha and Connie, Levi and everyone else growing taller than him, and us as the viewers wondering what the hell is going on with that wine. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential,...

We review Attack on Titan: Brave Volunteers (E68). We finally get an answer to one of our most burning questions this season: What have the Scouts been up to over the last four years? Plus, we get more Zeke and Levi interactions and they are pure gold. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime classic.” Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)...

We review the first half of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch) season one. An ambiguous protagonist, incredible music, a complex plot, and even more complex relationships are just some of the things that make this anime a classic. Join us for a blended discussion from the viewpoints of a veteran viewer and a first-time viewer! Support the podcast: https://www.pa...

We review Attack on Titan: Assassin’s Bullet (E67). While the battle between the Scouts and Marley comes to an abrupt end, this show is just getting started on revealing the bigger picture. In the same episode, we're given one of the biggest reveals and one of the saddest moments in AoT. UGH. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime clas...

We review Attack on Titan: Assault (E66). Just when we thought things couldn’t get more intense, MAPPA dishes out the next installment of this battle between Marley and the Scouts. We discuss the savage fight scenes, Levi vs. Zeke part 2, a nutcracker, screaming kids, and Armin’s glow-up. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime classic.”...

Courtney reviews Akudama Drive. She shares her thoughts on an anime that shouldn’t be overlooked with its wild characters, stunning visuals, and a story that ends so well it simply doesn’t need a season 2. We review Attack on Titan: The War Hammer Titan (E65). Our hype cannot be contained as we discuss the introduction of the War Hammer Titan, the return of the Scouts (particularly Levi and Mikasa), and the nation of Marley finally meeting the "island devils." Welcome back, Scouts! We missed you! Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of...

We review Attack on Titan: Declaration of War (E64). The tension and suspense in this episode were amazing, but what really had us impressed was Eren himself. We discuss his insane character development, his conversation with Reiner, and Willy’s declaration of war followed by the epic reintroduction of the Attack Titan. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re grant...

We review the second half of Vinland Saga season one. With a shift in focus from Thorfinn to Askeladd and some major reveals that add complexity to the storyline, the second half of this anime really captured our attention. As a whole, Vinland Saga is a powerful story that we hope to see more of, and we discuss exactly what makes this show so epic. Support the podcast: https://www.patreon.com/thes...

We review Attack on Titan: From One Hand to Another (E63). While this episode felt more like a light-hearted filler, it revealed some very important information regarding the Tybur family and the state of Marley. It also confirmed the reunion we’ve been waiting for, and we speculate what’s going to happen in the next episode as we wait for the 2-week break to end! Every era of anime has just a few...

We review the first half of Jujutsu Kaisen season one. We share our differing opinions on the world of sorcery and curses, the unique but familiar characters, and the stylized OP and ED. One thing we definitely agree on: Sukuna is alpha. We review Attack on Titan: The Door of Hope (E62). Yes, it was pretty much another Marley episode focused mostly on Reiner – but that HUGE reveal at the end of the episode has us feeling some type of Titan way. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime classic.” Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) could very well be that, and to celebrate...

We review Attack on Titan: Midnight Train (E61). While not much happened in this episode, so much was revealed and so many of our questions were answered. We share our thoughts on Zeke’s plan, the weird rotoscoping, and the highlight of the episode: Reiner’s potato story. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime classic.” Attack on Titan...
