Courtney reviews Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway (Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.). Despite the sus title, this was a hidden gem of the Spring 2021 anime season with a story that was heartwarming. Plus, this show has Yoshida, who is one of the best protagonists this year with his kind and caring demeanor. Support the podcast: https://www.patr...

We review the second half of Jujutsu Kaisen season one. This anime was so hype that it won 2020 Anime of the Year, but like last time, our opinions are still divided. We both agree, however, that Itadori and Toudou is the bromance we didn't know we wanted. We review Attack on Titan: Above and Below (E75). Things come full circle in this last episode for part 1 of the final season. Eren is greeted by a surprise guest, which is followed up by a surprise visit from Marley in what could be one of the best (and worst) cliffhangers in AoT. We speculate what’s to come as we patiently wait for part 2 to arrive! Every era of anime has just a few shows that...

We review Attack on Titan: Sole Salvation (E74). In the second episode of this week’s AoT double feature, Zeke takes center stage as we delve into his past, discover his plans to save Eldia, and decipher how the root cause of all this drama is bad parenting. Every era of anime has just a few shows that are so influential, they’re granted the title of “anime classic.” Attack on Titan (Shingeki no K...

We review Attack on Titan: Savagery (E73). In the first episode of this week’s AoT double feature, we’re treated to three different kinds of savagery: the main trio engaged in a not-so-civil discussion, Levi’s continued supremacy over Zeke, and Floch being his usual idiotic self. We review Attack on Titan: Guides (E71). Between the Jaegerists, the exploding poop chair, Eren's escape, and the special guest appearance, things seem to be spiraling out of control for Paradis.
