The Bible states, "...for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water..." (Isaiah 35:6-7). Throughout the world, people are crying out as they thirst for spiritual nourishment. The only way this spiritual need can be fulfilled is through the hearing of the nourishing Word of God.

This Easter Sunday message, “The Crown of Thorns,” continues the journey that began on Good Friday with “Take Up Thy Cross.” While Friday reminds us of the suffering of Christ, Easter declares the victory that followed. The crown of thorns placed upon Jesus in mockery became a symbol of the King who conquered sin, death, and the grave. Reflecting on the crucifixion and the resurrection, this sermo...

This Good Friday message, “Take Up Thy Cross,” reflects on the call of Jesus for every believer to follow Him in surrender, sacrifice, and faithful obedience. Infinite Dimensions of the Love of Christ 18.04.2025

The love of Jesus Christ is boundless, unmeasurable, and transcends all human understanding. The beautiful hymn "The Love of God" reminds us that Christ's love is "greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell." Just as the hymn paints a picture of God's love, we reflect on the unimaginable vastness of His love and how it reaches into every corner of our lives.

Joseph, the Dreamer 01.01.2025

God is the dream-giver. A truly godly vision is not something that originates in the thoughts of men, but it is given to us by God through divine revelation. A God-given dream can help you to discover your divine purpose in life.

Go Tell It on the Mountain 24.12.2024

When people hear the Good News that Jesus Christ was born into this world to save sinners, they often respond in different ways. What is your response? Do you believe Jesus wants to save you from your sins? Do you worship Him or reject Him? If you have heard the Gospel and accepted Jesus as your Savior, God wants you to share the Good News with others.

For Granted or Grateful? 28.11.2024

Are God's blessings to be taken for granted or are we grateful for each of them. To take something for granted is to expect something or someone to always be available to us without a response of gratitude or recognition for that person or thing. It is a failure to show appreciation. The Word of God encourages all believers to have a heart of gratitude and thankfulness.

The Last Will & Testament of Jesus Christ 31.03.2024

A last will and testament is a legal document detailing how a person's assets and properties will be distributed after death. The will must identify the "testator" and the beneficiaries, their qualifications, and a description of what is being bequested to each of them. The shedding of Christ's blood did three things: it paid God for the sinner's debt, purged the guilt from the sinner's conscience...

Thanksgiving Greetings - 2023 23.11.2023

In at least six of Paul's letters, he expressed thanks for The Church of God and Its members. In his letter to the Romans, he thanked God for their faith (1:8) and Priscilla and Aquila, who had risked their lives to save him (16:3, 4). He gave thanks in prayer for the faith and love of the Ephesians (1:15-16), the Colossians (1:3, 4), the Thessalonicans (2 Thess. 1:3, 4, 13), and Philemon (1:4-5)....

This Changes Everything 07.04.2023

Throughout the Bible, the dry, barren desert represents the curse of God, but the beautiful, fruitful gardens represent the blessings of God. Today, we look at three gardens in the Bible and how what happened in each changed everything: the Garden of Eden, the Garden at the Tomb, and the Garden in the New Jerusalem.

Fruit or No Fruit 01.01.2023

The theme of fruitfulness is found throughout the Bible, from the first chapter of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation.

The Christ of Christmas 24.12.2022

In the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as “Jesus Christ” one hundred and thirty-four times and “Christ Jesus” eighty-six times. Some may think that “Christ” is Jesus’ surname or last name, but it is His title. In John 1:41, we find Andrew talking to “his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.” Both the Hebrew word “Messiah” in...

The Goodness of God 24.11.2022

Psalm 107 is a song of thanksgiving for the goodness of God. Verses 1, 19, 21, and 22 read, “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: . . . Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. . . . Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving.” ...
