Three Nevada boys return to the biggest little city for the University of Nevada Reno's Pack Midtown event. Bob, Knapp, and newbie Chris Smith celebrate their friendship, the school, and an excellent beer.

Mead makes its merry way into the episode, though we don't drink any. Hash tag sad face. A terrific flight though and wonderful can art. Head to Mariposa to Twisted Cedar and tell Steve what stouts he should be carrying!

The boys (Glenn Crim, Chris Knapp, and Bob Moffitt) go down the coast of Oregon metaphorically for this episode, understand what it tastes like to lick a pirate, free O.J., get boneless wings (not real wings!), debate the merits of Applebee’s, mix beers together to see if they might be salvaged. Thanks to Bottles and Cans in North Portland for carrying a solid collection of stouts.

Sometimes, recording an episode is not as easy as it sounds.

On a day only Hades could love, Bob, Matt, and Trace trudge across the Sacramento desert looking for stouts that had just been judged at the State Fair. Only one brewery was bold enough to show up with a stout. And, as the Bible says, "It was good."

Brewing ninja Rico Sanchez from 1850 Brewing talks chocolate and coffee skills while Bob bleeds on himself and Clarence wonders if his blood would go well with a nice chiante. There are a couple of excellent grades to be had. Hope you can find them at your local bottle shop.

Weirdness abounds with visits from the spittoon fairy and Al Pacino. The beer is definitely different, too.

2022 was a crazy time. Tower Brewing had new brewers. The Easter Bunny was hopped up on goofballs and Covid meds. Seven pretty good beers including the 300th in the history of the Stoutcast!

A non-alcoholic beverage, a much-anticipated sasquatch-related beverage, Jason Bateman, and Maltodextrin make an appearance in this episode. That's four to grow on.

Bob and Chris' efforts to rate two really good beers are interrupted by rampant capitalism. It's symbiotic since it's Presidents Day.

Three excellent ratings, some 80's rock samples, a plea for can art, and olive belches. There is something for everyone.

There have been a lot of episodes posted since the last tine we were at 1850 Brewing in Mariposa. Some things change. Other things, like 1850 makes pretty good beer, do not.

Juneteenth is a day for celebration and Oak Park Brewing Company celebrates like crazy with events and new beers. Hear them and Bob Moffitt go through those beverages and try out some wild creations from other brewers.

On a cool and blustery night, two men gathered in the woods and sang the praises of the beer gods whilst demon hounds ran through and spirits were conjured through a wind chime. It's basically The Crucible 500 years later, only without the threat of hanging or being burned at the stake. Cheers to that and our co-host's birthday, which also is a 58. Spooooookieeeee.
