Rickey calls elected officials who think they are better than others nd are rude to county residents. Elected officials often forget they were elected by the people.

This week Rickey talks about Dothan native and former Lt Governor and Attorney General of Alabama, Bill Baxley, who was honored with a portrait of himself in the Houston County Courthouse. The portrait will hang next to his late father's. And a proposed industrial park for Houston County might be located in Dale County. Rickey wants to know why the industrial park on Stateline Road, at the Florida...

Rickey focused on a certain Houston County Commissioner who recently signed giant fake presentation checks to local volunteer fire departments with his own name instead of representing the entire Houston County Commission.

Rickey is rather calm this week with Thanksgiving just around the corner. He talks about the former City of Dothan Police Chief, the Ashford officer who was ejected from his car, the Peanut Festival being over, the Ashford football banquet, elections in NW Florida and practicing anger management when dealing with a certain cellular phone provider.

This week Rickey gives credit to two Houston County Sheriff's dispatchers for their actions recently attempting to save the life of an 8 year old child. Sadly, the child died, but the two dispatchers did everything possible to bring resources together in a very tense situation.

Somebody called Rickey out about hogwash or being a hypocrite. Rickey played an important role in helping end a multi-county chase which ended near the Dale and Coffee county line. And Rickey calls out those who pretend to be your friends but end up stabbing you in the back.

Rickey goes crazy over Houston County Commissioners complaining about Volunteer Fire Department personnel using county vehicles on personal time. Rickey says 2 of the commissioners are doing the same thing themselves. Plus jurisdiction between volunteer fire departments vs City of Dothan Fire Departments is a disaster waiting to happen.

Rickey moves the decimal bar up a few notches as he addresses a recent anonymous email where the writer inquired about deaths threats to Rickey. And he again calls out two Houston County Commissioners who are also members of the Houston County Sheriffs department.

Rickey speaks out against several things this week including the Hamas attacks on Israel and what media sources you can trust. In addition, mentions of a Saturday morning murder near the Tanda Room, officers who live outside the city and their response times and the passing of a former Alabama senator.

Rickey wonders what's the big deal about being appointed to the Houston County Health Authority when there is no pay included? It seems like a very coveted position. Why?

Rickey rails on 2 members of the Houston County Commission, who are also members of the Houston County Sheriffs Department, over conflict of interests in appointing members of the Houston County Healthcare Authority, voting on their own pay increases, among other issues.

In a city already raved by crime, Birmingham police tased a band director from Minor High School, located in Adamsville, Alabama, when the band director continued to lead the band at the end of the game. Rickey thinks everyone involved should be arrested.

This week Rickey rails on the continuing library controversy in Dale County. He gets riled up over ambulance service and hazing among students and how parents handle things. And finally, when there's a chase which involves multiple counties, how do they communicate when every county has a different radio system.

It seems like the county commissioners in Geneva County are jealous of one of their own and are leaving him out of group texts. Hmm. And the Dale County library controversy continues over books aimed at children containing sexual content.

This week Rickey talks about the Ozark/Dale County library which drew a huge crowd to meeting about books aimed at children which contain sexual content. He spoke highly of local volunteer fire departments, but not so highly about Houston County Commissioners.

Rickey talks about cameras in bathrooms in local schools and why they're there. And of course he wishes the best to the Houston County Commissioners who are attending the Alabama Association of County Commissioners Conference in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

This week Rickey talks about how to prevent being a registered sex offender and what the Houston County Board of education is doing to educate students and parents. And a recent burglary in Columbia could be relevant nationwide.

Rickey is calling out a Hoover female in the aftermath of an alleged hoax. Rickey wants your photos of local politicians or officials on the job. And Alabama is the 4th worst state to work for in the U.S.

Rickey calls out TV4 over their story about a TikTok video involving Holmes County Sheriff John Tate. And he's pretty ticked off about the new parking situation behind the courthouse and how the Houston County Commission is involved..
