Today we consider our tongues. 

For Christmas, we behold the love of God, taking note of love's object, love's expression, and love's cost.

For our second Advent Sunday, we look at the offer of peace in the midst of chaos, and seek to understand how we can enjoy it. 

To begin our Advent season, we look at the theme of hope, and see three occasions in Scripture where God fans the flames of hope in the life of His children. 

Today we finish chapter two with a look at what James is teaching us from the example of Abraham and Rahab

We wrap up the subject of favoritism with a consideration of what drives this behavior. 

As we continue our study of James, we see what the writer has to teach us about judging on outward appearances. 

Today we divert from James to hear from the Psalmist on the subject of waiting on God. 

Today we seek to understand why James identifies the mouth and widows and orphans as indicators of an active faith. 

In the ultra-familiar passage of hearing and doing, sometimes what gets missed is the explanation of precisely WHAT we should be doing. Today we are reminded of the most important thing. 

In this message, we see how the Holy Spirit calls us to conduct our ears, mouths, and emotions, and how these things can be impacted by what we absorb day to day. 

Today we learn how temptation works, and how we can resist it. 

As we continue our journey through James, we see that trials come for all people, and what we should fixate on in the midst of difficulty. 

Today we are joined by Pastor Aaron Householder from the Heartland Church Network. We were blessed to hear this message from Aaron as he guided us through Psalm 34, and the practice of trusting God. 

Today we see what's missing when we can't find joy in the midst of a trial, and how to get it. 

Today we see how trials bring us to the end of ourselves, and therefore teach us to trust God in the midst of profound difficulty. 

As we begin our study of James, we see what it means to view our trials in the light of the Gospel, on the grounds of Eternity, and understand their design. 

As we close our study in Galatians, Paul has one final warning for us concerning legalism. 

Today we spend some time contemplating what gets us down, and how God uses our discouragements to increase our faith. 

Another well-known passage, a law of nature, and a reminder that the Gospel is about relationship rather than rigorous, religious activity. 

Today we tackle the dicey subject of pastoral support, and seek to understand all of our obligation to the Word of God.  (Note: The first few minutes of this message was not recorded, but the audio picks up during the review of last week's message)

As we move into the final chapter of Galatians, Paul explains what law we can and should be fulfilling. 

Today we spend some time understanding what it means that our flesh has been crucified. 

Today we cover the fruit of the Spirit, and consider how we can be producers of it.
