Today we approach the first two commandments and see how God expects redeemed people to view "other gods."

Today we being to look at the commandments by answering some critical questions about the nature and purpose of commandments. 

As the people draw near to the Mountain of God, they are warned not to come too close. We explore why, and seek to reconcile this barrier with the Gospel invitation. 

Today we look at Jethro's counsel to Moses, the later ordinance of God to Moses, and the New Testament doctrine of plurality in leadership of the church. Super exciting stuff!

Israel comes under attack by a nefarious enemy, and for the first time since leaving Egypt, must take action in their own defense.

We come to the moment where the people have had enough of depending on God, and threaten mutiny. We behold the picture of Calvary painted by the Rock at Hebron.

Today we begin to see how the people respond when the glow of their wondrous deliverance fades, and take note of God's gracious response. 

Today we make our way through the song of Moses, taking note of eight Gospel implications made there. 

Today we walk through the typology of the Red Sea, and behold the picture painted of the believer passing through judgment. 

This Easter, we make our way through Psalm 107, and mark how varied the paths to faith in Christ can be, and how powerful His resurrection is. 

A message on the typology of slavery in Exodus. Less boring than it sounds! Possibly.

As we continue on in the Red Sea narrative, we pause to notice a surprising response from God, and what He may be responding to.

As the Israelites depart Egypt, they probably couldn’t help but notice the lack of milk or honey in the barren Sinai Peninsula. Today we see how God preserves His people- whatever our expectations may be. 

Today we make our way through much of Exodus 12, taking note of the  kindness and severity of God in the final plague. 

Today we move through the third triad of plagues, making note of Pharaoh’s feigned repentance, and seeking to understand the difference between worldly and Godly sorrow. 

As we move through the second triad of plagues, we pause to note the reason for and importance of Israel going out of Egypt, and the startling reality behind Pharaoh’s hard heartedness. 

Today we cover the bloody Nile, the frogs, and the gnats; and see how God answers Pharaoh’s question from Exodus 5:2 James Degner brought our Lord’s Supper devotional. That audio begins at 42 minutes in. 

We plow into the prologue to the plagues, noticing that even though God knew what wasn't going to work, He decrees a process anyway, and we seek to take a lesson from that as a church. 

We move from Moses falsely accusing God to God's response, and note the kindness which God shows to those who are struggling with unbelief. 

As we explore the first meeting between Pharaoh and Moses, we're confronted with reality. Being confronted with reality happens to the church, and the outcome is also often not good. 

As we finish chapter 4, we spend some time seeking to understand verses 24-26, and make application from the broader narrative. 

As we move through chapter 3 and into chapter 4, we examine Moses' objections to God's call, and God's sovereign answer to those objections.  Cecil Smith brings our Lord's supper devotional, and that audio begins at 37:08.

Today we are introduced to "I Am", and explore the meaning of God's answer to Moses' question about His identity. 

As we move along through Exodus 3, we see how God is not blind, deaf, or uncaring concerning His people. 

Today we begin Exodus 3, and consider what it means that God is Holy.
