The NFL season finally kicks into gear and Captain Bill and Dave look at the Browns season and give their prediction for their season. Tune in and compare notes.

This week Captain Bill and Dave start off the show with something other than Deshaun Watson. That's right - We start off with the first place (at least for now) Guardians. We do find some time to discuss the not so first place Browns.

This week Desaun Watson as mediated a punishment which is 11 weeks out and a $5 million fine. That is fine for him but is that fine with Captain Bill, Dave, and other Football fans? And what will happen to Cleveland with the backup in charge? All this and more this week on Sports Side Bar.

This week Captain Bill and Dave talk about ... you guessed it - DeShawn Watson. Will this never end??? We also leave a few minutes to talk about the first place Guardians.

This week is about ... you guessed it DeShawn Watson as the NFL appeals the arbitrators decision. Captain Bill goes through the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the appeals process. And there's still a bit of time to go over the changes to the Guardians and where they presently stand.

This week Captain Bill & Dave discust ... discuss the six game suspension of DeShawn Watson. Will the NFL appeal that decision and find out what the appeal process is. We also spend a bit of time talking about the Guardians.

After we learn of Captain Bill's tornado warning it's off to Philadelphia where Pete Rose will appear at a Phillies celebration - his first since his lifetime ban. Terry Francona is now the winningest Manager in Cleveland baseball history. Big Poppy is inducted into Cooperstown. And the problems of electronics of attending a professional sporting event.

This week - still no word on DeShawn Watson. Captain Bill and Dave also talk about the Cleveland representatives to the All Star Game and the game itself. There's also talk about the future of baseball with rule and electronic changes coming up in the next two years.

It's All Star time (almost) as we reach the half way mark for baseball so Captain Bill and Dave talk about the Guardians three representatives to the game and a look at the Guards here at the half way mark. And the DeShawn Watson decision should be coming at any moment. There is an informative discussion on how this whole arbitration / hearing proceeded.

As the NFL creeps closer so does the NFL decision on DeShawn Watson which what takes up a lot of the attention of Captain Bill and Dave this week. And barely hanging on to a .500 record there's time for a bit of Guardians talk.

As the NFL punishment is about to be administered, Captain Bill & Dave spend a great deal of time on DeShawn Watson including looking at an explosive article in the Akron Beacon Journal. Also spend time congratulating the NBA Champions and Stanley Cup Winners. There's even a bit of time left to bring in some talk about the Guardians.

You may not beat the heat, but you can get caught up in it. This week Captain Bill and Dave talk about how the Guards are on the Game. Timely hitting and the best bull pen in the American. How long can this young team keep it up? We also spare time with the latest Browns debacle.

Maybe it's just the heat or is it two more women who are jumping into the lawsuit Captain Bill and Dave get Sucked back into more DeShawn Watson discussion and with a possible suspension of a year - what will the browns do now? The Guardians are surging back into the division with hitting?

This week Captain Bill and Dave kick the show off with gambling - at least more gambling coming to Ohio. Is Fencing on the fence at Ohio State? Chris Sabo is out at the Univ of Akron. Are the Guardians playing as they should be? Another accuser joins the lawsuit against DeShawn Watson and the NFL ranks are slowly closing in on him. Could the Browns actually start Baker Mayfield if they had to???

We also take a look at the USA Today article on who are the worst owners in professional sports. Guess where Cleveland ends up there. Then it's off to the Baker Mafield mess and the Browns and the NFL Draft. And before time runs out we have a bit of time for the Guardians and their roster changes.

Captain Bill visits the Roger Maris Museum in Fargo, North Dakota this week. We also look at the state of the Browns which always has DeShawn Watson in the next breath. The Guardians have no mighty Casey at the bat - or hardly anyone else there. And we take a look at the all time Tito Francona Team.

It's not I Don't know on third base but it's José Enrique Ramírez for some time to come with his official signing of the extension.
