All aboard!! This week we are discussing Kandi Steiner's latest release Love Overboard. Gimme a yacht crew, the Mediterranean and a reality tv show and we are sold!! WE ARE BACK!! And it only seemed fitting to return discussing the same books from our very first episode the Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy. But now it is even better that we have a TV show that turned our dream boys into a reality! We discuss everything hockey boys, big bazongas, TV adaptations and discover we may not understand Gen Z's!

OUR FIRST EPISODE WITH A GUEST!! This week we welcome our friend Brittney from the fabulous Los Angeles for her first podcast experience! She is not a romance reader so we are discussing some tropes and taking bookish quizzes to see if we can convince her to come to the dark side. We don't think we have ever laughed this much in 1 episode!

This week it's Steph's turn to discuss her Book Boudoir pick, Blood Orange by Karina Halle. A spicy Dracula, forbidden romance with a little reincarnation thrown in but be warned... this is not like Twilight. We can confidently say this book was much more of a success for Steph!

If you haven't already heard of this book, we don't think you will be disappointed with the spiciness in Lights Out by Navessa Allen. If you're feeling goofy, silly and thirsty we think this will be the episode for you. 

This week we are trying something a little different... a book with NO SPICE. But it's Stephanie's birthday episode so we let her pick whatever book she wanted to talk about and we think you guys will love it regardless because we had so much fun! Not to take the spotlight away from Onyx Storm, but we think this book deserves some more attention! 

This book was very Grinchy, But Stephanie thought. It was actually based on Frozen, Even though it was not. Amy caught the references, She smiled and she cheered. To make up for our Christmas spirit, Which was worse than we feared. Grab your cup of eggnog, And we’ll travel to Whistler Lane. Where a competition is afoot, And we’ll never look at candy canes the same!

This week we do an author spotlight on the queen of taboo and bully romances, Penelope Douglas! We discuss the first book that lead us down the dark romance rabbit hole, how Amy cannot resist temptation of Pandoras box and debate the true meaning of reverse harem and daddy kink.  

Unlike Ross, we didn’t fall asleep reading (more than 18 pages front and back!) while we were on a break. This episode we each discuss 3 books we read in the last year while being away from the podcast. We bet you can’t guess who read the dark romances and who kept going back to small town…

It took a book about a real psychic to make Steph realize that maybe she can’t always predict the ending. The Dead Guy Next Door by Lucy Score is a lighthearted romcom/whodunit that keeps you laughing and guessing the whole way through. (Spoilers included)
