"But God..." is perhaps the greatest two-word phrase you'll find in scripture. We were dead in sin, slaves to Satan, and under wrath, unable to free ourselves. "But God" intervened through Christ and gave us life as a free gift. There is no better news to hear, believe, and share with a dying world.

When you read the daily headlines, how do you feel? Frustrated? Powerless? Desparing? We consume news, bad news, about which we can do nothing. We can engage at a local level and have some influence, but not at a national or global level. Nevertheless, we have hope. "Jesus will reign" answers every troubling headline. It also instructs us how to live each day - in joyful submission to His rule in...

God is greater than anything we fear. He is always with us and promises salvation to the one who trusts Him. For that reason, He is our courage when we're afraid. For the person who trusts God, there is nothing to fear.

In the midst of our pain and suffering, we often feel misunderstood, alone, and completely out of control. Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows everything about us, is everywhere with us, and has a perfect plan. As a result, we can trust Him in every situation.

Psalm 105 praises God for our shared identity as His people because there is always potential for incredible confusion over who we are, what we need, and how we should live.

Worship is so much more than singing in church on Sunday mornings. But to do it well, we need humility, knowledge, and inspiration. Discover all three in Psalm 113.

Psalm 90 is a psalm of trust in the Lord as our refuge and it encourages an honesty in our struggle.

God hasn't left humanity to stumble in the dark. He speaks to all of us in His WORLD and in His WORD, but to hear His voice, we must step off the treadmill of life and learn to listen.

We have a crucial need. There is a profound solution and a gracious response.
