"...let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean form an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."

By the sacrifice of Christ we can have a full assurance of our faith, to enter into the Holy places and access God. By His blood we are cleaned.

The author of Hebrews drives home that the sacrifice of Christ is far better than the sacrifice of bulls and goats, that in Him alone we have the perfection of our faith and a purified conscience.

"Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." "so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:22 and 28)

When we greater understand the depth of how much we have been forgiven we are enabled to forgive much and love much, for we will start to fear less the absence of that love and forgiveness.

This passage tells of how Christ establishes a better and freer access to God through His sacrifice, and that His blood gives us a clean conscience free of the guilt of our sins.

The writer of Hebrews tells of why there is a new covenant, that it was by the design of God and that Christ fulfills a better position as our high priest, by whose blood we are forgiven, not only covered

The author of Hebrews tells of the superior position of Christ in comparison to the Levitical priests as He "who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven" "in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man."
