As a church, another way that we grow in our devotion to one another is by seeking reconciliation. We have to intentionally embrace the ongoing navigation of unity together as GOD's people - a unity that transcends the divides and prejudices we hold by virtue of our human nature. Support the show

CHRIST teaches us and demonstrates that our devotion is the foundation from which our lives make a difference. HE demonstrated this by spending the bulk of HIS time on earth teaching and preparing HIS disciples for the work of the good news and demonstrating how they should love each other and the lost. While the church in Acts fellowed together, the LORD added in their number daily. The mission of GOD for the earth didn't start with their deeds, but their devotion to one another while GOD built them internally.  Support the show

Devotion to GOD's teachings, the written WORD which bears witness about CHIRST, means we read the WORD for our own self transformation. This same WORD - the BIBLE - is GOD breathed and documented for our salvation. We devote ourselves to the WORD by continually asking "what do I need to hear from GOD's word today?" Support the show

As the church, our journey is as much about community as it is about our personal journey with HIM. As followers of CHRIST,  we are invited to  us to fulfil the desire of becoming all that GOD has created us to be through our devotion to HIM. We are therefore expected to act wise by staying aware of the seasons we are in,  both in our individual journey and church community. Support the show

The HOLY SPIRIT is given to us in order to: convict us about CHRIST, convert information into revelation as we navigate our human experience, and to encourage us to live out GOD's call on our lives. Therefore, it is s not our situations that determine our destination, it’s our revelation through the HOLY SPIRIT.   Support the show

We seek the heart of GOD by inviting Him to search ours. David was willing to accept GOD's guidance in facing his weaknesses and imperfections as part of His devotion to Him. Support the show

Serving with our gifts open doors and makes room for God's promises; it is part of our personal process toward God's provision in our lives. From the example of David we examine how God doesn’t judge the ability of our gifts, but their availability to Him.  Support the show

If we evaluate David's legacy, we find that 1) he that his power came from resting in God; 2)  he didn’t allow his start to dictate his ending, and neither should we. David's life and legacy should be an example and encouragement for us to rest in Christ who has overcome sin on our behalf. Support the show

God chooses us, then calls and anoints us as royalty. The question is whether we can accept the anointing of what God sees in order to lay claim to all God has called us to? Support the show
