There is a aspect of Acts chapter two that often gets overlooked. In this message we learn how much God values culture and diversity. It is a challenge to us to explore God's glory as it is painted on the tapestry of people groups all around the world.

Acts 1: 4-11 This sermon explores what this "Movement" is that God was doing in the book of Acts and continues to do today. Ryan also explains the power of the movement.

Acts 1:1-11: This is the first sermon in "The Movement" series. This series will be through the Book of Acts. In this message we learned about the history of the Book of Acts and how the christian faith is. A foundation forged in the Past. A power sustaining in the Present. A vision pressing toward the Future.

"There is no discipline that invokes more guilt in people than the subject of prayer." -Ryan Paulson In this message we learned how prayer is designed to set us free from the anxieties and stress of our lives. Prayer is not a command that should invoke guilt it is the path where peace is found. The battle for a healthy mind and heart is waged and won in prayer.

Celebration is actually commanded in scripture. Why are we commanded to celebrate? God actually uses celebration as a tool to tune our hearts into His goodness. We often don't think of celebration as a God honoring thing but it is.

2 Corinthians 8:1-12 In this message Ryan shares with us how generosity tunes our hearts to God. You are never more like God when you are generous.

In this message our guest speaker Dr. Scott Wenig shared with us about the life of Barnabas and how his gift of encouragement helped shape so many in the New Testament. He taught us how we can grow into encouragers.

In this sermon Ryan teaches us about the significance of communion in the life of the church. Sometimes we allow sacraments (traditional practices) like communion to get old. Sometimes we don't understand and therefore don't benefit from some of God's gifts to us. This message tries to explain how communion is designed to tune our hearts to God.

We often don't talk about what actually takes place in our hearts when we confess our sins. Much of confession is for us not God. This sermon talks about how confession works in our hearts to tune them. This may be one of the least understood blessings in many Christian lives.

Psalm 95 People have been arguing about worship for 2000+ years. This Sunday we trie to get to the heart of the matter for our church. Ryan walked through Psalm 95 and drew out principles that should guide and inform our worship. He offered us tips on how we can grow as worshipers.

Sometimes we need something to help us tune our hearts to God. One of the most powerful tools that God gives us to help our hearts tune is His word. In this message we learn more about that.

Christmas isn't just about a baby in a manger. Christmas is about adoption. God became a child so that he could make us his children.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1)." God is a creator. This might be one of the most important facts we can remember about God. The fact of the matter is, we need a creative God. Some of the dark situations in the world seem impossible to fix but God is so creative that he can do it. God loves creating beautiful things out of the broken things in the world.

John 1:14 God made his dwelling AMONG us. As Eugene Peterson said, "God moved into the neighborhood." In a season filled so many things; presents, parties, trees, and lights… it can be easy to lose sight of what we really celebrate. GOD IS HERE!

Text: Matthew 23:1-39 This sermon was given on November 10th 2013. The text was Matthew 23:1-39. In this passage we discuss the masks that we tend to ware to protect ourselves or make ourselves look good. These masks actually prevent us from finding full joy in our relationships. "Dropping the mask of perfection allows us to pick up hope of redemption."

You probably would think of shrewdness as a desirable Christian quality, but Jesus challenges his followers to be shrewd. This message addresses what that looks like from Luke 16:1-14.

Here is a short write up: Dinner with the King (of awkward) Luke 14:1-24 Jesus might have been the most awkward dinner guest if all-time! He put people in uncomfortable situations so that he could deliver transformational truth. Listen to the freeing truth he delivers in this passage.

Matthew 12:9-32 Jesus heals... and the Pharisees want to kill him for it. The Pharisees were so interested in pointing out people's lack of faith that they failed to see the flicker of faith that existed. Jesus came to ignite faith, not to condemn unbelief.

Luke 5:33-39 It's hard to let go! Especially when we have believed something for a long time. In this passage, Jesus confronts the Pharisees on some of their deeply held beliefs. He invites them to let go in order to receive something better. I think he asks us the same question!
