It was the very first of what became an NHL staple. Saturday, November 22nd, 2003. The Heritage Classic from Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, and I was there. I walk down memory lane and re-live what was going on at the time the NHL's first ever regular season outdoor game took place.
