Sounders Pow Wow

With the group stage now behind us, we check in on the brackets of the Pow Wow and how embarassingly Jonathon is doing. But his bet game is strong.

Almost cover the Seattle Sounders on this show (there is a minute of discussion), but mainly focused on predictions (and subsequent bets) for the WC2026. There's stupidity to be had.

Where will the goals be coming from this week, with two matches being held at the T? What line-ups will the Seattle Sounders put on the pitch against the league leaders tomorrow? Or on Saturday against the Galaxy? And what on earth is going on with that neck?

Points dropped away from home and Jonathon has PLENTY to say about it. San Diego is on their way to The T and Troy has something to say about it. Fantasy is happening and Katy has little to say about iy.

Another home game on the grass(!?!) at The T against MLS competition (St. Louis City) after a disappointing non-advancement in some CCC tourney and the Pow Wow has thoughts, opinions and questions.

After a another three points on the road, the Seattle Sounders are heading off to Mexico to take on Tigres in their first leg of the CCC. We have opinions. And wagers. And distractions.

We made it! The season can finally get underway proper cuz the Pow Wow has recorded. Plenty of sick over the past couple weeks slowed us down, but we are returning to our regular sporatic schedule. Talking previous and upcoming matches, jerseys and answering your questions.

The playoffs are upon us and so are the questions! Several matters to discuss about the last match of the regular season and even more topics concerning what the Pow Wow thinks of the Sounders chances of making a dent in the 2025 MLS Playoffs (presented by a corporate being).

After a heavily rotated line-up victory over Real Salt Lake, the Seattle Sounders are heading off to beautiful New York state to play the world's game in a baseball stadium. Oh, how far our MLS has come. The big bet is revealed and this is your chance to listen to us suffer (again).

Not horribly convincing but a W nonetheless for our beloved Seattle Sounders. And there were shenanigans and gesticulations and a couple cards (probably). Hosting RSL during the international break and that looks like a perfectly horrible idea now that it is upon us. Plenty to discuss and questions to answer.

If you were looking at your day and reckoned you wanted to place a really dumb bet on something so out of your control it is certainly laughable, we got you. Two Cascadia matches in a row for the Seattle Sounders and the first could have certainly turned out better in a number of ways. But Portland is coming to town and the Pow Wow has opinions. And here we are, looking the Club World Cup square in the face. And trembling like a jackhammer being held by a puppy. After the week that was, can anyone, seriously, believe there is a point to be had for the Seattle Sounders during this upcoming tournament? Or has it all been a ploy to lull the competition into a false sense of security and the Sounders will be the Cinderella story of the summer...
