Something Wrong With The Podcast

Hey Everyone, We're back with another livestream. Just a reminder, this audio version is a cutdown of a livestream that I do Monday 8pm.  We jump right in with the Wayno & Ray Daniels beef which escalated after Wayno signed with Charlamagne's Black Effect Network. The kids that were on the boat with Nolan Wells, the black teen that was found d*ad after a boat party, did a joint interview....

Welcome back to another fun one! I kick things off with my experience at a couple of J. Cole’s NYC shows and share a conversation I had with Cole himself. If you haven’t seen The Fall-Off Tour yet, I highly recommend grabbing a ticket.  Then we get into the mess. First up: the Queen Naija dinner bill fiasco. She was out to dinner with two other couples when an argument broke out over who shou...

We are back with a fun livestream episode. I did a livestream last night and edited it for your audio experience We cover a ton of topics.

We finally made it through the heatwave, but Team USA couldn't make it through the Round of 16. I'm recording this immediately after the U.S.'s 4-1 loss to Belgium, breaking down what went wrong, what this tournament revealed about American soccer, and why the sport still struggles to compete with the nation's four major sports. From there, I shift to hip-hop and unpack Lil Wayne's disappointing t...

Hey Everyone, I'm happy to be back from NYC, home of the world champion New York Knicks. During the event, Bas and Ib, J. Cole's manager, shared a great story about how their relationship with PSG fir...

Reporting live from Mexico City, I'm back on my solo travel grind, soaking up culture and exploring the city. But even after leaving the country, I couldn't escape the shockwaves Jay-Z sent through hip-hop this past weekend at Roots Picnic. I break down the lyrics, subliminals, and disses throughout his performance, then dive into whether this moment is ultimately good for hip-hop and what it mean...

We’re in the middle of Coachella, so I brought on legendary photographer Colin Lane, best known for capturing the cover of 'Is This It' by The Strokes. He also shares storie...

It's a conflict-driven world. Today I begin by giving some praise to A$AP Rocky for maturing over the course of his career and why I believe Drake hasn't been able to do the same. Do we need a Travis Scott cameo in 'The Odyssey'? I then turn to the justified outrage against these senseless ICE incidents. I reference my tweet, see here: the fact that we’re watching american citizens getting shot an...

Welcome back everyone! I don't waste anytime today and get right to the shocking news of Hot 97 canceling 'Ebro In The Morning'. This carries into a stat about the decline of rap representation at major festivals. Why aren't rappers getting booked during festival season? This past week has been a tragic one for many people including legendary Hollywood director/actor Rob Reiner and his wife. They...

Well it was a birthday week for the ages. As I was out celebrating with some friends I checked twitter and saw Rory fighting for his life on spaces. I begin today reacting to that entire situation. We transition from bad tweets to bad emails, as Trump and his blindly loyal crew continue to downplay the severity of the Epstein emails. I also discuss how Trump is continuing to auction America to the...
