How Ancient Rome's sewer system helped my coaching philosophy when building a team. I recently did an underground tour of Seattle and the tour guide told a story about Seattle's sewers over 100 years ago. The difference between ancient Rome and Seattle was staggering. One thought about the importance before developing the city and the other it was an afterthought.

Soccer coaching advice from Philosopher Bertrand Russell | Philosopher Bertrand Russell was born 150 years ago in 1872 and in 1959 shared his wisdom with the BBC. I thought some of his words were relatable to Soccer coaching and wanted to share my thought process.

After a torrid time in South Korea, I returned to England without a job. After watching a couple of Manchester City games with a then scout of Manchester City I ended up working for them. 2011 was the year and Manchester City had just got their newfound wealth. This episode looks at that and where they are now.

After 8 weeks away from the podcast, I'm back with Episode 52. There's been a lot of uncertainty and upheaval over the past few months but I'm glad to say I'm now settled. I'm in a new city, new state and have a new job. Today I talk about bringing professionalism into my work.
