So often we judge God by our own characteristics. We think sometimes God doesn't hear our prayers because He wasn't listening. But He ALWAYS DOES. Do we?

Many people are stuck in a place called Church Hurt. Bottom line it is offense from something someone did or something that happened in a church. This chat deals with that and explains how it hinders you walking out your purpose and the plans God has for you. Walk with me this morning and let's talk it out.

Sometimes we forget that Holy Spirit likes to hang out with us...

Several years ago I stopped calling Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit. Why is that important? Because considering his presence abides in US we no longer need to feel powerless. He is the very presence and person of God.

Up here in Trinity County, in weaverville, we are surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. Especially at this time of year when the temperatures start to change and the leaves begin turning. Home vegetable gardens begin to die off. Winter crops begin to flourish. The smells change and the feeling in the air changes. All for the glory of God.

How do you pray? Do you ask God to fix things? Are you asking him to do something that he's already giving you the tools to do?

Discovering long-ago friendships renewed, and the Art of sending cards

So much craziness has gone on since my last podcast! In this episode I share thoughts on where I am, what's happening now, next week, and in the future of the body of Christ.

Losing three dear friends within a week has taken its toll on my heart. Helping another friend who has survived and is recovering has become very important to me. Take pictures because it's very important. Listen in and you'll find out why.

This is my interview with Okhia Kim. This beautiful women shares her life story with us from her birth and being disposed of as garbage in a Seoul, Korea dump, holding nothing back. It's amazing that she's even alive much less thriving and serving God. This is part one of two interviews.

I believe that every day we wake up we are one step closer to heaven. But I do not believe that means we're getting old. I'm not in denial, I walk in hope everyday. What does getting old mean to you? And have you decided that that's what's happening to you?

What's the weather like where you are? Right now? Well, whatever the weather is, enjoy it! What is your favorite part of each season? What smells and sights and sounds bring you comfort and joy?

It's a beautiful day today but we know that tonight we are going to have a very big storm come through. I realized I need to enjoy this Calm before the storm. But I also need to enjoy the storm. What about you?

When I was growing up I couldn't look within in my own immediate family for a Hero. The only person in my extended family I could look up to was my grandmother. I decided I wanted to be like her. Who Is your hero?

I rescued a little bird out of our chicken coop this morning. It was headed in the wrong direction just like many of us have been at one time or another in our lives. At least I know I have!

Catching up from the silence over the last month or so... Reconnecting and letting you know how very much I cherish you! I will tell you about a new thing that God has me doing in the next little bit of time. I also will be sharing some of my experiences during quarantine and encouraging us all continue to look forward to God's goodness.
