Snark Marks, A Very Funny Podcast

Well, we did it. After a few years and 200 episodes we decided it's time for a change. We will be getting back in touch with our roots and again becoming a wrestling show. The new show is called Wrestling Over Everything, and we will still be uploading weekly. We appreciate all of you who listened to Snark Marks; we've had a blast making it.

For our penultimate episode, we explore a space we reference a lot- the most unintentionally funny documentary ever made, Metallica's Some Kind Of Monster! The biggest rock band in the world got together to make an album and they accidentally created a masterpiece. Join us for episode 299/300!

To wrap up a successful Marks Madness, we have perhaps our toughest assignment yet: deciding the best cool kids movie. These are movies in which we wished we were the kids in the movie. There's sports, go-karts, pirate ships, and a whole lot of 12 year old heroes. Enjoy!

Between 1992 and 1994, Hollywood became obsessed with movies about kids playing sports, going on adventures, and just being generally cool. The boys put together a bracket of those movies. Enjoy!

For our second Marks Madness bracket, we discuss Boomer Rock, or Dad Rock. These are the songs that were the soundtrack to your dad's worsening drinking problem. Get in your Pontiac and turn it to 11, we are bringing the bangers.

Sorry for not having a show last week. Andrew was struck with a mystery illness but heroically returned this week. Dusty now has the flu but he is also a hero so we did a show. We talk about being sick, all of the stuff we watched while sick, and Dusty breaks down all of the Final Destination movies. We're heroes.

Dusty brings a list of movies that Andrew may want to watch in the theater in 2025, and movies he is generally excited about. We also decide on the final three brackets for Marks Madness!

In the previous episode, Dusty and Andrew began what they are calling "The Hey Soul Sister Memorial Tournament Of Crap," in which they pit the worst of the worst of music against each other. Fort Minor, Breaking Benjamin, Megan Trainor, Owl City and the like. In this installment, we finalize the bracket with the help of Andrew's big brother and music aficianado Jacob Cotner!

Marks Madness is approaching and we couldn't wait on this one. Dusty had the idea that we should do a bracket of the worst songs of all time, and we both compiled pretty hefty lists. Before we get into that, Andrew went to Boston and details his trip.

Dusty does his annual breakdown of the movies that he watched in the theater this year with an unprecedented number. He also gave Taco Bell's nuggets another shot and they are discussed. The Snark Marks do their annual Christmas gift exchange, and let me tell you, it takes us higher.

Each year on the podcast, we set goals for the forthcoming year and share the results of the goals we set for the current year. Last year's goals did not go well. How did this year's do?
