Sleeping Pillow

Fiction HI ↓ 21 episodes

I am a huge fan of collecting souvenirs. I believe one of the greatest journey is to bring out your emotions into something tangible and I find it relieving and beautiful to leave a part of me behind which I can revisit. May be someday, I will look at my emotions back and smile at my younger-self. I'd really like that. I welcome you to my world of "recycle bin" where I'll share with you different pieces of my feelings in forms of poems, stories, diary entries etc. both in Hindi as well as English. Let's go.

Episodes

Tum Khud Hi Khud Se 31.12.2023

I recall I liked this one. I hope you do too. Also, have a super great year ahead! (Wish me too)

Aaj Mohabbat Seekh Chuka Hun 01.12.2023

Something’s can’t be learnt at college or at Udemy

Meri Samajh Ke Pare Hai 18.11.2023

This one was high on emotional and real low in literature. Feel free to skip.

Tumne dekh tha na mujhe 01.11.2023

It started as a diary entry and ended up like this. Let me know in the comment section (lol) how you liked it

Kitnon me bechoge sapna 01.10.2023

Description on the audio itself

Jeena bh chahta hun 01.09.2023

Ouch

Iljaam 01.08.2023

Iljaam = Blame (See. The app that I use to publish my things requires me put to add description, any kind of description. Now, I am not going to make a diary entry here. So, this word-meaning is what we end up dealing with.)

Fursat 01.07.2023

Fursat = Spare time

Genhun aur Ghun 01.06.2023

Genhun aur Ghun = Wheat and Weevils. Reference being a famous Indian proverb that roughly translates too: Weevils are also crushed with the wheat (during the process to grind wheat into flour)

Ek khat likh raha hun tumhein 01.05.2023

Khat: letter

Dhyan 01.04.2023

Something completely random

Masaledar 15.02.2023

The kind of environment that went with the storyline might seem like patriarchal. You aren’t wrong. While I keep trying my best not to walk on those lines, such was the environment I grew up in. So, with that disclaimer, I hope you can find some fun which was intended.

The Perfect Date 13.02.2023

I apologize for a few mispronunciations and literal mistakes. “Grazing” is actually “gazing” and a “know” is “knew.” I hope you can forgo these mistakes as I do to my new years resolutions (ouch).

Ab 01.02.2023

Darakht: tree; loha: iron (here: axe)

Samay 29.05.2022

Didn't feel like that long while writing..haha

Andaza to lagao 21.05.2022

Again, something from the past

Mohabbat Seekh Chuka Hoon 15.05.2022

Something from the past

Sleeping Pillow 03 - 3BHK Part 2 30.05.2021

This is part 2 of the previous episode. Thanks for listening.

Sleeping Pillow 02- 3BHK Part 1 30.05.2021

Wrote something recently. It's a Hindi story published in two parts. Don't forget to listen to its second if you like the first one.

Sleeping Pillow 01 - Mulakat 14.05.2021

Why is this so that meeting with someone you were together once is awkward, yet so exhilarating? Isn't it beautiful to meet someone from your past and you look how much they have grown? You look at yourself from their eyes and notice how much you have changed, for good. "You live, you die and in between you fall in love and taste both" Credits: 1. Introductory poem: Nida Fazli 2. Conclusive poem:...
