As the first day in Forge ends, the party agrees to an alliance with the Empire under the advisement of Margaret and new baroness of Equinox, Bella Canto. All this, and we still need to find the Soul of Stone, the next of the thirteen keys.

13a campaign 40c: Lacking in Legislature 12.04.2014

Drakkenhall has seceded from the Empire, Mint is haunted still by a chair from a portrait of himself he saw in Equinox Manor (resting place of the first Orc Lord), and the party continues on their separate paths, round-robin style.

Nav befriends the unwanted of Forge, the beasts and mutants forced into the sewers. Manuél and Scarlett are forced into the monstrous slum of Beaston, where they are quickly embroiled in the plot of Manuél’s former employers and Grand Handsome’s rivals, Wylde Nyghtmäre, to free the political Dark Elf prisoners who have been held in Forge for literal ages. As an atmosphere of apocalypse looms over Forge, rigorous customs policies split the party, meaning we get in six or seven times as much trouble.

With a victory and the object of their quest in hand, the Rogue Elements learn the true identity of the Deathkillers: fallen angels who seek to destroy death itself by crushing the underworld, rumored to lie just below the Undermarch.

13a campaign 39b: The Minecart Method 28.03.2014

Dwarven corporal Lance Marbedis suggests the relic is in the hands of the Deathkillers, an enigmatic cult of anti-undead extremists. To this end, the party ventures deeper into the Undermarch, a great underground bridge connecting the current and former capitals of the dwarves. To get the relic an ingenious plan is hatched.

13a campaign 39a: Chuul in the Cavern 28.03.2014

As recompense to Mayor Khetehk of Misty Hill, the party agrees to retrieve a relic capable of seeking out a body’s soul. Before they can reach it, they have to get past a Chuul infestation in their secret entrance to the Undermarch.

When they escape to Hellmarsh, Wanda reveals she was hired by the witches residing there to save/kidnap Claude from CREAM’s “protective” custody. As they assist in fighting off CREAM’s pursuers, they reveal to Claude that he is the First Scroll of Resurrection.

Meanwhile, in the dwarven capital of forge, the luminary thespian Claude Luminor (Ambisagrus), acting coach Violetta Spellreguard (Wolfshirt), and agenda-laden audience members Debentiel (PoorWeather) and Wanda Hiltpick (General Ironicus) are forced to escape the theatre as props and actors become the undead they portray— as if the play itself is violently coming to life

13a campaign 37b: Misguided Morals 03.03.2014

Arriving for a pit-stop in the town of Misty Hill, the presence of undead disrupts the party— it is only after attacking do the Elements realize that this town is a secret settlement for the lost, the escaped, and the unwanted undead. The party agrees to find for Mayor Khetehk a relic in return for their misguided attack.

The party heads for Forge and the Soul of Stone— on the way, rumors begin to spread in the Northern empire that either the Diabolist or Crusader has fallen in battle.

13a campaign 36b: Bella's Bailout 28.02.2014

After breaking Mint out of his cell, the party is promptly captured in full, and only the timely intervention of Bella Canto, the new baroness of Equinox Manor and diplomatic powerhouse, saves the day.

A sneaking mission in the Moonwatch labs goes awry almost instantly.

On arrival, Mint is spirited away to the secret labs beneath the town by Assistant Director Peppercorn for debriefing on the moon with extreme prejudice.

The party makes their way to the town of Moonwatch, overcoming an ambush by sorcerers and more of the vengeful Blue on the way.

Breaching the basement, the party discover a naga has taken control of the manor and feasts on hapless adventurers— but in the end, Bella cleaves it to pieces and we take our prize, the Tusk of the [first] Orc Lord.

Within Equinox's haunted halls they face the twisted hallways and cursed inhabitants of the manse— experimenter and experiment alike.

Preparations continue as our heroes navigate the web of court intrigue and the GM's slapped together political capital system. Other notable diplomats include the insufferable Gilder Goldenbrass who also quests for the Orc Lord’s tusk but is REJECTED, the paladin Sir Galadrahel who confronts Scarlett with her destiny, and Stella Bardoc, a cleric who rids us of New Nav.
