Best of SUDS 2019 is filled with lots of whammy towards the simple side. With the continued overwhelming use of lactose in 2019, we decided to get back to traditional beer in our top choices. Oh, there was great beer all the way around, but did it have to include roasted toffee marshmallows?

SIPS  Episode – Our Best of SIPS 2019 episode is the culmination of tasting hundreds of products this season. We tried to select products you can find. The measure of innovation continues to increase with new distilleries, new grain choices, secondary finish barrels. Our best of choices cover a global landscape with 3 Scotches to join the 4 American Bourbons.

SIPS  Episode – We managed to butcher every French pronunciation, except for Bob, he’s special. In the middle of that less than professional moment, we discuss champagne from G.H. Mumm, Henriot, and Collet. Not just for New Year’s Eve, Weddings, but for any occasion, like Tuesday.

SUDS Episode – From the cellar comes a 10 year vertical of Sierra Nevada’s Bigfoot Ale. An annual release of this Barleywine all at 9.6%. Yes you can actually buy a vertical at the Sierra Nevada Gift Shop and we even spotted one in the wild at Green’s in Atlanta. There is a beer geek friend you know that has squirreled some of this away.

SUDS Episode – The challenge is remove all influences about which Belgian beer is best. It’s on in this epic blind tasting of Belgian classics from Chimay and LaTrappe. Oh you may think you know, but you really don’t. We brought all the prejudice to the conversation that you would expect.

SUDS Episode – There are just not enough fake British accents in entertainment. We decided to pick up the cause while to discussing beer from Samuel Smith. It’s those beers you keep walking by that are not made by hipster brewers using explosive hops all day. Dave manages to get us banned from Iowa.

SIPS Episode – Made Man Brent thought this was our annual clothing optional episode, NOT. Wrong kind of unicorn, but this is a review of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection or BTAC for 2019 which is slightly different each release. We also are privileged to review Parker’s Heritage Collection for the first time which is a different release each year and 2019 of a Heavy Char Rye.
