On the 25th anniversary of Morgan Day, I get Chris Morgan, Paul Leeman, Colin Nixon and Darren Lockhart together at the Castlereagh GSC to look back on that memorable season 20 years ago.

Back for another season of podcasts - better late than never! First up for this season is Andrew Mills. 'Millsy' joined in the summer of 2024 from Swedish side Östersunds. He had to bide his time, but after the departure of Dan Gyollai in the transfer window, Millsy has cemented his place as Glentoran number 1.

On the latest episode of Shout at the Oval is midfielder Cammy Palmer. Cameron talks about life at Rangers, being coached by Steven Gerrard. Adapting to life quickly at Linfield before suffering a bad run of injuries before crossing the divide to join the Glens. We look back on the season to date and look forward to what we can expect form this Glentoran squad.

In this episode I speak to the man who has a day named after him! On 23rd April 2005 Chris Morgan scored a goal which went down in the history books and has been talked about ever since. But much more than that, Chris was a brilliant footballer who scored goals throughout his career no matter where he played, picking up 3 league winners medals in the process.

This weeks episode is former Glentoran player Terry Devlin who is now making a name for himself at League One club Portsmouth. We talk about his time at Glentoran - in what he describes was a "Mental" season - to how he is finding life in League One.

This weeks guest is a supporter who needs no introduction - Sam Robinson. Sam was one of the founding members of the Glentoran Community Trust which we discuss and is possibly more well known now for being a Glentoran historian. Author of two books about the club, playwright and the man behind the Victory in Vienna Documentary, there is no man who knows more about Glentoran Football Club than Sam...

This weeks guest is Glentoran legend and former defender John Devine. John pulled on a Glentoran shirt 468 times and won everything there was to win at the club, including 3 league titles, 4 Irish Cups and the double. He was also capped by Northern Ireland and is regarded as many as one of the greatest players to play for the club.

Next up is 2009 title winning full back/winger Kyle Neill. 34 goals in 159 Glentoran appearances, Kyle had a wand of a left foot and was a free kick specialist. Scorer of many great and important goals, we chat about winning the title with both his boyhood club and Glentoran, plus the Setanta Cup final in 2008 and still playing to this day at the tender age of 45.

First guest of the 2023/24 season - Willie Garrett Willie joined Glentoran at 10 years old, climbing his way through the youth teams and making it into the first team, the first player ever to do so. After cementing his place as first choice centre half, Willie faced a series of bad knee injuries which prematurely brought an end to his football career. On Friday 12th May Shout at the Oval hosted our first ever LIVE podcast at the Castlereagh Glentoran Supporters Club. For the first time in 20 years we reunited the 2002/03 squad to reminisce and share side splitting stories of their time together at the club. A special team and a special night!

This weeks guest is 2009 title winning midfielder and Glentoran player of the year Shane McCabe. We talk about his entire career including making the Irish Cup final at Dungannon, winning the title with Glentoran and winning the Irish Cup with Glenavon - plus the balancing act of playing both Gaelic and Association football!

This weeks guest is former midfielder Dean Fitzgerald. A man who won league titles with both Portadown and Glentoran. He discusses finishing his career at Glentoran, jubilant times and tough times. The tough tackling box to box midfielder is a huge personality and we share plenty of laughs in this episode. Contains swearing.

It's back to first team duties for Shout at the Oval as I welcome Glentoran forward Shay McCartan to the Podcast. Shay doesn't do many interviews so it was a pleasure to get to talk to him about his career to date, including a difficult first season at Glentoran, but now things are looking up for the Newry man.

On this weeks podcast it's Mr Reliable, Mr Consistent - Jason Hill. A player who converted from centre forward to left back and became a fan favourite. He won the lot with Glentoran and picked up our player of the year award in 2008. 

This weeks guest is Glentoran legend Gary Smyth who rejoined the Glens as a player on 3 separate occasions and latterly managed the club. Gary goes indepth about his career from start to finish, including managing both Harland and Wolff Welders and Glentoran.
