She Speaks Truth

Like sheep knowing the voice of their Sheppard, we will know the voice of God when we listen with our heart.

We look in John 10 as Jesus uses a story of a flock of sheep to show us how he is the gate that gives us life.

Are you in need of rescue? We have a Redeemer that brings peace to the chaos.

Jesus is the Word that has been since the beginning as a light in the darkness.

We enter into our second Sunday of advent and this week we will focus on where our faith is held.

We conclude our first week of advent with the ways that Jesus is our greatest advocate. I pray you are feeling blessed with these messages of hope this week.

We continue our hope in Jesus as we see Him as our ultimate mediator in life.

We continue seeing the God if Hope as He is our Bread of Life.

We continue our study of Jesus as our Hope with Him being the Light of the World.

We move into our week of seeing how we have Hope in Jesus.

Join me this advent series as we look at the names of Jesus and have a short reading and prayer each day.

We are coming up to Thanksgiving this week and I pray for ways to look for blessings and share words of life and love. I also introduce the next series that will begin on Sunday, a daily advent prayer.

With Jesus as our example, we can see a way to respond to others with wisdom and love. We do not have to fear our country leadership as we know there is one with ultimate authority over our eternity that reigns.

Do you feel also that the time from Halloween to New Years just speeds up and the lists of things to do and get never ends? How will you take time to renew your strength?

As we conclude the series I’ve been talking about rest and Sabbath, we look at God’s word where he talks about there being a time for all things in our life.

If we number our days, does taking a day to rest or “do nothing” become lazy? Shouldn’t we be producing more or doing more foe God?

When on a vacation, do you take time to experience new things and see God’s amazing creation? We can also see His splendor right at home, we just have to take the time to focus on it. This, I admit, I am often not good at doing.
