God has a conversation with Moses about telling the Children of Israel of the scheduled offerings...but this is also about God using you for his purpose even when you've made mistakes in your life...God can and will use you for his glory.

Transition is the course of action in this chapter for Moses, Eleazer and Joshua...The Children of Israel are getting new leadership on the verge of walking into the promise Land.

Today I want to talk about WHAT...WHEN..HOW..WHY of this very topic.  

Let's Talk About The Children of Israel's Journey & how it applies to our lives of today

God asks Moses and Eleazar to take a census of the children of Israel and the numbers are a very great proportion.

The People of Israel are in the land of Shittim and have succumb to the ways of the people in this land but Phinehas makes an atonement for the sins of the children of Israel.

God has blessed Balaam with the gift of prophecy to all in the group of Balak and his friends what will happen to them in the future.

When God wants to bless you can't nobody stop him even your haters can't stop God from blessing you.

God Blocked It!!!

The Children of Israel are faced with a decision that they have never faced before and it has a tremendous impact on they're way of thinking and they have to fight for the people that they love in order to get them back from being kidnapped.

In this chapter we see the children of Israel are back at it again and this time for their disobedience their is consequences that has an effect not just on them but on the leadership as well.

The Laws of Purification are early forms of baptism - the beginning of being baptized. 

God changes things with the Levites and they have been given their time now…no inheritance.

God will show you who to follow on your walk with him…. Good mentorship…leadership… associations.

The Children have lost their minds, rebellious and straight unruly and they suffer the consequences for their disrespect of their elders

What happens when you unintentionally commit a sin and violate the sabbath.

In today's lesson we see the children of Israel are not in a listening mood when it comes to God's instructions from him and because they do not listen they suffer the consequences.  

Moses has been instructed to send men to scope out the land of Canaan but when they come back what report do they give Moses.

Be careful of putting your mouth on people or talking about others because it could come back to haunt you.

No matter what God has done for the Israelites they seem to find something wrong with what they have and they are ungrateful for what God has given them and then Moses tells God that the responsibilities that he has been given is too hard for him to bare, so God decides to give others the responsibility as he has given Moses.

It is time to move from the place where the Israelites are located...Mt. Sinai...to a new location that the Lord has picked for them to dwell. It's time for everyone to participate in the moving of the Tabernacle of the Congregation and the Ark Of the Covenant to this new land that God is leading them too.

In Number Chapter 9, Obedience is important when it comes to the existance of the children of Israel and when it is time to move and stand still while listening to God on their journey.  Are you being obedient when God is speaking to you?

Sometimes God has to take us backwards to move us forward. What are you willing to let go of so God can use you?
