If we want to excel and be rich in doing good to others, we need to be convinced and truly believe that God has done unfathomable good to us.

The grace of God in Christ has appeared to “train us” to live as Christians in the present age, while we wait for Christ’s second appearing when he ushers in the age to come. Grace trains professing Christians to also be practicing Christians.

Christians believe the good news of Jesus Christ. There is also the need to live in a way that the gospel is adorned by the behavior of all who profess Christ. So there are behaviors fitting for Christian men and women, young and old.

Every Christian should highly value the scriptures, but a pastor must. This is a non negotiable. He must be faithful to "hold fast the trustworthy word" in order that he may feed the church with instruction in sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

The gospel is of first importance because it solves our greatest problem, offers an eternal hope, satisfies our deepest longing, and transforms the whole person.

The grace of God is his overflowing, boundless, neverending kindness and love toward those who do not deserve it. The grace of God is that which pours of the heart of God like an unending river raising dead people to life, cleansing sinners clean, uniting them to Jesus Christ, forgiving and justifying them once for all, adopting them into his family forever, all through the work of Jesus Christ on...

We experience change all the time. The living God does not. And this is good news.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the turning point of human history. The historical event of the resurrection is a victory, for the empty tomb proves Christ's defeat of sin and death.

Our God is loyal and trustworthy.

God’s wrath is His firm, just, and severe opposition to and action against all that is evil. God's wrath is exercised after much patience, it is always judicial, and it is fierce.

To say God is sovereign is to assert that he has absolute authority and rules over all of creation, which includes history, nations and rulers, the natural world, mankind, salvation, and even evil and suffering.

God knows. God's knowledge of all things past, present, and future is exhaustive, penetrating, and incomprehensible. Psalm 139 is David's meditation that the God of all knowledge knew him. He knows us too.

The omnipresence of God means that God, Himself, is present everywhere all the time. There is no place, where God is not.

The scriptures speak of God as holy in the highest degree. He is holy, holy, holy. This study will look at what it means to God is holy, a traumatic response to His holiness, and our need for sheer grace.

The goodness of God is what moved God to save us. The goodness of God drives our worship and thanksgiving.

From the time of the early church and the church fathers, one of the primary tests of orthodoxy was the biblical teaching that there is one God who exists in three distinct, co-equal, co-eternal Persons. This has always been considered a non-negotiable doctrine to hold to.

The aseity of God means God is Eternal. He always has been, and always will be. It means God is self-existent. He exists on His own. Nothing or nobody ever has, or will, help Him to exist. God created everything but no one created God.
