Epiphany marks the celebration of the coming of the wise men to Jesus. Matthew chapter 2 shows us how Jesus is worthy of our attention, our fear, and our worship.

One of our values is "we are becoming people who celebrate goodness and beauty.” Three members of our church body share how God has worked in their lives in this area.

Why do we doubt, and how do we deal with our doubt? This passage in Matthew can help us work through our feelings of doubt.

We have spent 10 weeks working through the Nicene Creed section by section. At the end of the creed, we proclaim "Amen." It is the final answer: truth.

The doctrine of the resurrection of the dead and the life of the age to come should be an anchor for us in times of trouble and an inconsolable longing even in times of joy.

Here, the creed starts to focus on the theological controversy of the day: who and what exactly is Jesus?

The creed's first article makes plain the biblical idea that God is the Father. Whatever our earthly father is like, God the Father is so much better.

Three members of our church body share how God has worked in their lives regarding our value to pursue unity.

The first three words of the creed set the stage for everything that follows. We begin with the idea that "we" are the people of God. We don't know everything - but we trust the one who does.

An introduction to the Nicene Creed and an explanation of the four lenses we will be viewing it through in our study: scripture, history, theology, and worship.

The final verses in Philippians help us understand what Paul envisions when he thinks about a community of believers. The church is you and us, the church is a primary identity marker, and the church is a community of grace.

Paul acknowledges receiving a gift (probably financial) and offers a life changing teaching on contentment.

How is joy related to living our lives worthy of the Gospel of Christ? Chapter 4 lays out how the act of rejoicing in the Lord can lead us to peace and joy.

Paul reminds us of the identity we carry as ones loved and longed for by God and encourages us to stand firm in this.

Chapter 3 concludes with Paul speaking on the importance of spiritual maturity. He focuses on pressing on towards the goal of knowing Christ and being transformed into His likeness.

Paul begins chapter 3 by urging believers to rejoice. He highlights three reasons for us to rejoice: we are the real deal, Jesus is worth it, and the power of the resurrection.

Paul talks about what the beauty and majesty of the person of Jesus means for us in the context of loneliness, relationships, and community.

Paul talks bout the importance of working out our salvation while God works in us.

What is humility - and why is it hard? Paul reminds us to look to Christ as our example of true humility.

Division in the church is nothing new. It has been present since the fall and is the exact thing Paul is pleading with the Church in Philippi to avoid.
