Patrick Lewis preaches the message, “Holding onto the Covenant Words of the LORD.” In this portion, we find the psalmist longing for God's salvation, clinging to his promises in affliction and discovering that God’s Word provides life, stability and wisdom in a changing world.

Guest preacher John Chung from Covenant Theological Seminary. John will preach from Psalm 87 that celebrates God's love for his city and his gracious invitation to people from every nation to become citizens of his kingdom.

Pastor Dave preaches from Psalm 119:41–80, “God’s Word Works In Tough Moments.” Life often brings opposition, affliction, and seasons when we feel alone. In this portion of Psalm 119, the psalmist repeatedly turns to God’s promises and discovers that his Word provides courage when he is attacked, comfort when he is afflicted, and community when he feels isolated.

The psalmist prays,  “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law”  (v. 18). As we look at this passage together, we will be reminded that understanding, loving and following God's Word is not something we accomplish on our own. We need the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit to open our eyes, enlighten our minds, change our hearts, and renew our wills.
