In the beginning, God created humanity and humanity rebelled against their creator. But God revealed who he is by pouring out his grace.

Paul’s final words to the Romans is that they need to be aware of the battle that going on around them and not to be naïve but strengthened by one another and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul prioritizes strengthening the unity of the church over evangelism for a brief time. We must also consider this balance and ensure that we do not forsake one for the other.

We are called to build each other up and so glorify God just as Jesus served us to the glory of the Father!

Paul spends all of Romans 14 explaining how we ought to handle God’s truth. We must be careful about how we exercise the freedom with have in Christ and prioritize living in faith over living in our own freedom.

In Jesus Christ the righteous requirements of the law have been fulfilled – and it is through Jesus that our love pours out to those around us.

God’s love is not the same as the world’s love, God’s love is genuine as it is rooted in truth and cares for the eternity of the person.

We are not called to an ordinary Christian life – we are all called to ministry, to a life of sacrificial service to partner with God in the rescue of humanity!

Paul explains how God moved and worked, how He chose and hardened, how He orchestrated the events of human history – consigning all to disobedience, so that He could have mercy on us all!

God’s sovereign plan has always been to rescue humanity based on faith. Severity toward those who do not trust in Him and kindness toward those who do!

In God’s sovereignty, He has preserved a remnant in Israel, this reminds us that He is faithful to His promises.

There is a weapon that neutralizes the Gospel of Jesus Christ – trusting in our own obedience for righteousness

God sovereignly shows His wrath and mercy to remind us of the awesome riches of His glory!

God sovereignly executes his purposes according to election

God’s promise and covenant with Abraham for an offspring in which the promise will be made. God’s Sovereignty in all things despite man’s idolatry of themselves and their sin. God’s promise fulfilled through Jesus Christ.

Paul’s anguish towards his fellow Israelites that are unsaved based on their rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. Paul is desperately pleading with his kinsmen to come to Christ and we should be doing the same for the lost in our lives.

We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. There is no one who can separate us from God’s love and no one who can reverse what He’s done.

As adopted children of God, we have a hope of eternity that causes us to long for that day when we will be with God – and this hope enables us to endure the present sufferings.

As adopted children of God, our lives are not immediately purged of sin; rather, we are now able to recognize indwelling sin and fight against it daily.

We find real freedom when we are slaves to God, pursuing righteousness daily and receiving the fruit of the Holy Spirit that makes us more into the image of Christ.

Jesus’ Resurrection was of eternal significance, but not only. His resurrection changes how we interact with sin in our lives daily.

Justification is God’s declaration that we are righteous. It Is a declaration that stands for all eternity – the righteousness of God accounted to us freely by His grace, through Jesus Christ!
