Life is a journey. It’s not the quantity of your life or even the quality of your life that matters; ultimately, it's the company you keep along life’s journey that counts. When God is your companion in life’s journey, you may have to face some tough challenges, but he promises to lead you home.

Throughout the journey towards the man of promise, the Enemy offered some alluring substitutes. Recognizing the pitfalls and choosing the true plan of God is the only way to go. Only those who keep their eye on the bigger plan of God can make it.

All of us have been wandering away from God since the beginning of time. It is God’s grace and mercy that keeps pursuing us. In fact, Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost, and he wants to take us to the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Ever since the beginning of time, the Enemy has been sowing the seeds of discord and rivalry among people, especially in the family. We have a choice to go God’s way or the way of Cain. His way is through his first-born Jesus whose blood speaks better things for us.

Being an apologist is not about being argumentative or defensive over the faith. It is about giving a reasonable defense of the biblical faith that will lead people to the gospel of Jesus Christ and becoming solidly grounded in their faith. The call to be an apologist is not just to a select few; it is to all believers.

This weekend, we are continuing in our study through the book of Philippians and Paul’s encouragement to have the mind of Christ. Jesus knew exactly who He was and how far He would humble Himself in order to save us. The title of this weekend’s message is “True Esteem.” How do you see yourself? Do you have the mind of Christ? Are you saved?

We mindlessly use the word mind but we never set our minds to understand its true meaning. In this second message in our series MIND(re)SET, we will go one step further in understanding what the Bible has to say about the mind. What is your mindset? Is it set towards the things of God or is it set towards sin? Has there been a mind change in you? Are you saved?

In life, you need the right directions. Wrong directions or failure to follow the right directions can lead to disaster. The Bible is God’s right directions for our life every time. In fact, Jesus is the Way of life. But, he is much more than just our GPS. He is also our road and our destination; and, he never misleads us.

The adolescent years can be quite stressful in a family’s life. This is the time when teenagers are searching and trying to create their own identity. By God’s grace, we can help them find their true identity in Christ and his word. The student ministry may not solve all the problems, but it can be a big source of help and encouragement.

Life is a game that has its fouls and penalties. The Bible is God’s rule book on how to play the game of life. God is much more than just the rule maker, he is also the referee or the umpire who calls us out when we fail to follow his rules; and, unlike earthly umpires, he doesn’t have to look at the video replay. He calls it right every time.

The early years of a child’s life are very influential in their growth and development. The sooner we can lead them to Christ the better. Delay in guidance can be detrimental to their coming to Christ.

Children are a gift from God. Some people think that they are meant to bring us joy and companionship. Others think that they are given to be our caretakers in the latter years of life. Yet others try to live vicariously through their kids. The true reason for having kids is to replace us in this world when we are gone. It is to give God a godly legacy to build his kingdom.

You are the gatekeeper to your heart. You can either let in things that bring you closer to Christ or you can let in things that take you away from Christ. The attack is real, intense, constant, and the cost is heavy.

What if your mind had a reset button? What if you could hit a button and start all over, making better decisions and being more successful. In this series called MIND RESET, we will learn how to do that. It is based on Philippians 2:5-11. Before we can try to reset our minds, we need to understand how our mind is set. Our society and culture are increasingly trying to neutralize gender identities. Both scripturally and scientifically, transgenderism is unnatural, inappropriate, and sinful. We are to be compassionate towards those struggling with gender dysphoria, but we are also to stand firm in our conviction of biblical gender distinctions. Compassion without the gospel of Jesus Christ is collaboration.

Jesus is the light of the world. When we receive him, we come out of the darkness of sin into the light of his salvation. Once we receive light, we are to shine his light brightly into the lost world so that others can also come out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Every marriage needs a clear vision of where they are headed. Failure to have a clear vision causes marriages to go adrift and even capsize in the storms of life. Clear vision begins by identifying the core values that God has for your marriage.

Every marriage must be fortified. The Enemy is always looking for breaches and weaknesses to find a way to sneak in and destroy us. Without proper fortifications, it’s a matter of time; but, with God’s help, our marriages can withstand any trial or temptation that may come our way.

Since ancient times, God has used the imagery of a Shepherd to show us how much he loves us and cares for us. Jesus is our Good Shepherd, and we are helpless and clueless without him. What’s more, he has called us to join him in bringing other lost sheep into his fold, with commitment and compassion.

Our society and culture are increasingly trying to normalize homosexuality and homosexual marriage. Both scripturally and scientifically, homosexuality is unnatural, inappropriate, and sinful. Nonetheless, every person can find hope and healing through Jesus Christ.

The real battleground in some of the recent cultural attacks against Christianity is on Biblical Authority. It stems from seeing Truth as being distinct from Authority. To the contrary, God is the source of all truth, and he is the ultimate authority. Hence, the Bible is the truth of God tested over time, and it claims authority over our lives. Failure to obey the Bible is failure to submit to God...

God has made us in his image. The image was never lost at the Fall, just marred. Through Jesus, we are restored and made new creations in the likeness of God. Evolution from ape-like creatures or “cavemen” is not only false, but it also devalues the image of God in us and seriously undermines the gospel.

Just as the harvest season is a limited-time opportunity, so also is soul-winning. God is constantly reaping and gathering souls into his kingdom, and he wants us to partner with him. To work in the field of souls, we need to have a sense of urgency in reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Biblical account of the creation of animals testifies to the creative genius and power of God. The animals are a reminder of the providential care of God, the effects of sin, and the coming glorious redemption through Jesus Christ.
