Eh? Why is there an episode about this and why is it really long? a) That's what you're about to find out, and b) welcome to Serious Disness! This little-discussed Disney TV sellotape-sequel actually is something of a landmark moment for us.

We've been given all of Disney's films all at once and never have to buy new ones as long as we keep up our subscription fee. So, er... now what? Fancy putting one of them on? No? Oh. Why not? Welcome to the conclusion of the Big Pile Trilogy!

So what happened next? Remember I was all enigmatic about the Raya review being the first part of an unwitting trilogy that happen to add up to one big discussion? Well it was, and this is the second bit, and the third bit is coming VERY soon.

Returning to the chronological releases, 2015's Cinderella was the first of the remakes to be an actual REMAKE. But was it good? We both sort-of disagree, and sort-of have an argument about it. Drama!* in the new Serious Disness! *(not really)

This film defied our expectations in basically every way possible. We're joined by fellow Lion King expert and 3D animal artist Jamie Carr (@orbitalnomad) to explore whether it really is the animals that have left audiences feeling conflicted.

Disney's latest remake warrants immediate, queue-jumping discussion, so here we are with our immediate (and I do mean immediate) response. (psst, go and see this film.) Rated E for one or two pretty mild words.
