Sent Church

T his Sunday, we unpacked Mark 6:1–6, and discovered how familiarity with Jesus can cause us to lose our expectancy for what He wants to do and were challenged to restore our faith, raise our expectations, and trust that God still desires to do extraordinary things in and through His people.

This Sunday, we kicked off our Restoring Wonder summer series, and unpacked Isaiah 6:1-8 and discovered what it means to rediscover awe, wonder, and a fresh perspective of God.

This Sunday, we continued in our Romans series as we unpacked Romans 6:1-14 and discovered what it means to be dead to sin and alive to God. We explored how we can experience true freedom in Christ and live in light of our new identity.

This Sunday, we continued in our Romans series. We unpacked Romans 5:12-21 to see how humanity came under the reign of death through Adam and how Jesus has opened the door to a greater reign- the reign of grace.

This Sunday, we continued our Romans series with a message titled Defiant Hope from Romans 5:1–11. In the midst of suffering, death, and evil, how can followers of Jesus continue to have hope? This Sunday, we continued our Romans series in Romans 3:21–31 and saw how God remained both just and loving through the cross of Jesus. In one of the greatest turning points in all of Scripture, we discovered how God makes sinful people right with Him through faith in Christ. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday,  we continued our Romans series and looked at one of the most sobering—and awakening—passages in all of Scripture. This Sunday, we continued in our Romans series. We looked at Romans 2:1–29 to see how easy it is to look right on the outside while something very different is happening underneath—and why the gospel isn’t just for the rebellious, but for the religious too. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday, we continued in our Romans series. We unpacked Romans 1:18–32 to see what the Bible really means by the wrath of God and how getting what we want can actually lead us into bondage. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday, we celebrated Easter as we explored John 20:11–18 and discovered how Jesus meets us right where we are and calls us into resurrection life. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Good Friday, we heard a powerful message as we looked at Luke 23:13–25 and the story of Barabbas. We were reminded that while a guilty man walked free, an innocent Savior was condemned—and that we are Barabbas. Jesus took our place so we could experience His love, forgiveness, and freedom. This Sunday, we heard a powerful Kingdom Builders message from Pastor Derek. We looked at Acts 9:8–19 and heard about the incredible ways God is moving through Chi Alpha and transforming lives! Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday, we wrapped up our Pressing In series with a message from Luke 18:31–43. We looked at the contrast between the disciples who couldn’t understand Jesus and the blind man who saw Him clearly, to see what keeps us from recognizing Jesus and how desperation leads to true spiritual sight. This Sunday, we continued our Pressing In series as we heard from Pastor Joel. This week, we looked at Luke 14:25–33 to see how Jesus challenges the crowds following Him to stop and count the cost of what it truly means to be His disciple. We reflected on the kind of commitment Jesus invites us into and how we can respond to His call in our own lives. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday, we continued our Pressing In series by looking at the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10. In a world full of activity and distraction, Jesus reminds us that “only one thing is needed.” Together, we explored what it means to sit at the feet of Jesus and cultivate a life of true devotion to Him. This Sunday, we kicked off our new series Pressing In by looking at Luke 9:51–62 and what it means to “set our face” on Jesus. As He resolutely moved toward the cross, we were challenged to follow Him with the same wholehearted commitment — releasing comfort, removing conditions, and refusing to look back. This Sunday, we were honored to hear from our Holy Spirit Conference guest speaker, Brad Lewis! Brad serves as the North Dakota Ministry Network Director for Chi Alpha and brings a deep passion for seeing people live boldly for Jesus. This Sunday, we concluded our Hearts Wide Open series. We looked at 2 Corinthians 8:1–9 to discover how God’s grace produces joyful, sacrificial generosity. Sent Church WeAreSent.church

This Sunday we continued our Hearts Wide Open series with “The Surrendered Heart.” We looked at Genesis 4 and the story of Cain and Abel to discover what it means to give God our first and best as an act of trust and love. This Sunday, we continued our Hearts Wide Open series with guest speaker, Pastor Jonathan Barthalow. Together, we looked at Ephesians 4:1-13 to explore what it means to have a responsive heart toward God. Sent Church WeAreSent.church
