Could this be the last Free-For-All of the season? Either way, tonight's SMD went soaringly great with a great variety of tunes from artists like Garpocalypse, McVaffe, MegaDriver, SuperiorX, WillRock and... Rexy herself? Something's not right here...

This week’s SMD Free-For-All ended up being among the most diverse game-wise – and even then, with artists including Danny Baranowsky, Dr. Manhattan, DusK, EAR, Scaredsim and Smooth McGroove, it could do no wrong… unless GBA speakers get in the way…?

We haven’t had a DJ set since August, and that’s where this rock centered episode went! If you weren’t air-guitarring to artists like CarboHydroM, DusK, Magellanic, M-H, Prince of Darkness and SnappleMan… you weren’t listening loud enough, weren’t you?

If SMD wasn’t scary already, this episode’s Halloween edition certainly took it to that level – spooky outcomes at different angles, including works from Beatdrop, MegaDriver, Mr Stream, RobKTA, Sir Nuts and the remaining tracks from OC Remix’s Badass 2!

Rexy may be embracing Spanish sun, but she did leave behind a pre-recorded SMD Free-For-All in her absence - featuring her thoughts on PlayExpo 2013 and killer tunes from artists including Dj Mystix, DusK, Gecko Yamori, Jewbei, RobKTA & Smooth McGroove!

Obviously excited for PlayExpo that weekend, Rexy threw in a Free-For-All packing an hour's work from Devastus, EAR, Jivemaster, PirateCrab, Rune-Bertil's and Sir Nuts among other artists. Will you join her in being on your feet for most of the show?

SMD went on a road trip this week – an hour of racing remixes to mark OutRun being the new Game of the Month. Riding out with tunes from Audio Sprite, Dj Mokram, EAR, M-H, Ryu7x and xoc amongst others, this episode really went into top gear (pun intended)!

SMD on a Saturday? Mad as it sounds, the show kept its spirit in a longer-than-normal Free-For-All, with artists including DJ MAX-E, FamilyJules7x, Jivemaster, Rukunetsu, guest co-host Brandon Strader and a Sonic CD mega-collab from OverClocked Assembled!

After 3 special weeks in a row, this week’s Free-For-All meant a serious catch-up on the request pool and other new releases. We can’t go wrong with an artist roster including Audio Sprite, CarboHydroM, Jivemaster, Malcos, McVaffe and PirateCrab, can we?

It’s almost 14 years to the Dreamcast’s US launch, and this show focused on Sega’s coverage for this iconic game system. You can’t go wrong with artists including Ample Renitence, Dale North, DarkeSword, Mr Stream, PrototypeRaptor and Rukunetsu, right?

With a week left until Alcon 2013, SMD featured home-grown talent in this “Best of British” edition. With a wide artist spectrum including Box Robot, DiGi Valentine, LeeBro, Mr Stream, WillRock and a certain foreversonic, it’s one patriotic show to be proud of!

It may be another Free-For-All, but it’s also the last one for quite some time – August may have had dry spells, but this one kept nice and packed with tunes from Mr Lange, NO\VA, OA, SnappleMan, Yuzoboy, zircon and a whole handful of others!

Old is new as this DJ Mixer Drive had a Retro focus – styles made popular around 20 years ago or more. With work from AkumajoBelmont, DiGi Valentine, Dizcrybe, MasterJace, Prince of Darkness and WillRock, among others, this audio time machine was on fire!

A Free-For-All could mean anything, but tonight it meant coffee, Poké-puns, quiz rounds and MORE coffee. All in the comfort of tunes from Air3s, Danny Baranowsky, EAR, José the Bronx Rican, S.S.H. and a new release from Team Sonic Paradox, among others!

‘Twas the night before Summer of Sonic – Rexy may not be attending with the other RS DJs, but she still put on show. With artists like EAR, Gecko Yamori, Mazedude, Richard Jacques, Senescence and tefnek, what kind of wild technomanga did this weave?

SMD broke into its quirkiest theme yet this episode via Fish Friday! Our catch of the day was a fine selection of artists including Benjamin Briggs, DiGi Valentine, halc, Harjawaldar, OA and TheDelRe among others, so go check it out – no bassing around!

There seems to be an uncanny theme of heat and dryness in this Free-For-All show – Summer’s influence? Seems so, but we can’t complain with tracks from Beatdrop, Bentley Jones, Brandon Strader, Kanjika, Sadorf… and our host Rexy too!

There’s buskers on the mixing streets – this DJ Mixer Drive takes us through a variety of arrangers wielding live instruments, including work from the Blast Processors, BrainCells, Devastus, Falk, Smooth McGroove & xoc! Loud and raw, as it should be!

If sold-out Wave 1 tickets for Summer of Sonic 2013 weren’t hot enough, what about an hour’s worth of remixes carrying the summer heat? All provided by artists like Brandon Strader, DusK, Funk Fiction, Gecko Yamori, Guifrog and… Rexy herself? Again!? That DOES NOT COMPUTE…

What happens when a free-for-all happens after the Sonic Fan Music Festival? Blue blur aftertaste, surprisingly! And with a set including tracks from DCT, Dj Mystix, housethegrate, SnappleMan, Theory of N, WillRock and more, we can’t see why not… right?

SMD was part of Sonic Radio’s Sonic Fan Music Festival 2013 with a 2-hour set covering Sonic’s history! With work from people like Brandon Strader, DusK, EAR, Freen in Green, Sir Nuts & Souleye, you’re in for a wide community outlook for the blur blur’s past!

Sonic nuts are in luck this week as the entire setlist has fan remixes for the Blue Blur! This includes work from Anti-Syne, EAR, Jose the Bronx Rican, PrototypeRaptor, Sadorf and Smooth McGroove among others, all for Sonic being around for 22 years!

Metal Heads have gone extinct in this wild techno-driven DJ Mixer Drive! How wild? How does hard-hitting numbers from artists like Beatdrop, EAR, Jewbei, Main Finger, Platonist and Sir Nuts sound? One thing’s for sure – this Spring went out with a bang!
