Leviticus 8 it's incredible to consider these details and realize how creative and beautiful God is who designed them. 

Leviticus 9 today, we are considering what the Lord has done in Aaron's life where he closes the chapter by raising his hands and blessing the people. 

Leviticus 10 this is an interesting chapter as in the beginning it seem that God is a real stickler for the rules, but then by the end, we see there's grace and room for the reality of life. 

Leviticus 11 We are talking about what to eat and not eat today and considering how the New Testament has impacted these laws. 

Leviticus 12 There are some obvious questions about these laws surrounding childbirth that maybe you could help with in the comments. Here's Pastor Andy's thoughts on it... 

Leviticus 13 These are the laws about skin diseases. Pastor Andy explains why he finds them fascinating... 

Leviticus 14 There's an Easter egg in this chapter. It's the law about what to do when an "incurable" skin disease.... is cured. 

Leviticus 15 Let's talk about bodily discharges on Sunday... Why?  Because it's in our chapter today, and all Scripture is given by inspiration of God...

Leviticus 16 We are reading about Yom Kipper, the day of atonement in this chapter and considering how it's celebrated today, and how Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah has become our atoning sacrifice for all time. 

Read Leviticus 17 in the CSB Bible. This chapter has a repeated theme of "blood" and how and why they were to respect the blood of the animals. It also states that blood is required for atonement. 

Read Leviticus 18 in the CSB Bible. this chapter is about sex. It's interesting to consider the reasoning that God gives for these prohibitions around sexual activity. 

Read Leviticus 19 in the CSB Bible. We are talking about holiness today, because that's the common theme in this chapter of laws on various topics. 

Read Leviticus 20 in the CSB Bible. There are severe consequences listed in this chapter. Much more severe than we have read so far. Up till now, an animal sacrifice would suffice... 

Read Leviticus 21 in the CSB Bible. Let me know in the comments what you think about this chapter and God's instruction that no one with a defect would be permitted near the altar. 

https://read. Leviticus 22 The theme of respect is woven through this chapter in instructions about the sacrificial system. It speaks beautifully of the love and wisdom and grace of God. 

Read Leviticus 23 in the CSB Bible. Don't skim through this chapter thinking there's nothing for us as Christians in it. Certainly, this is the basis of their cultural events, and they mark significant events in their history, but they are also prophecy, and a field of rich study for us to understand what's in the future. 

Read Leviticus 24 in the CSB Bible. There's a lot in this chapter. I want to talk about the anointing oil though and how it obviously relates to us as Christians. 

Read Leviticus 25 in the CSB Bible. The brilliance and wisdom of God is on full display in this chapter as He's laying out the system of rest and reset for not just the people, but also the land. 

Read Leviticus 26 in the CSB Bible. There's a brief synopsis of the history of Israel in this chapter, although it's given in advance. What an encouragement for us to live in the full blessing given to us through Jesus. 

Read Leviticus 27 in the CSB Bible. This, to me, is a chapter guarding against forward-sliding. This is the opposite of backsliding... check it out... 

Read Numbers 1 in the CSB Bible. So, here's the question for today. Why is this book called Numbers? I'll bet you can guess why. But, here's the thing, the name is deceptive, because that's not what it's about...

Read Numbers 2 in the CSB Bible online. These instructions are interesting and many people have drawn out what the Lord is describing and say that it resembles a cross. 

Read Numbers 3 in the CSB Bible online. Over and over in this chapter God refers to the firstborn and it's good to consider his legal claim to the firstborn and how that relates to us as Christians. 

Read Numbers 4 in the CSB Bible online. The wisdom of God is on display in these instructions. He's choosing families for these various responsibilities. It's economic, efficient and strengthens the family bonds. Brilliant! 

Read Numbers 5 in the CSB Bible online. It is a strange procedure where a suspected unfaithful spouse would have to drink this potion before the priest to reveal her guilt. It's so different from the way we think nature works, but maybe there is a connection between the microbiome and the spiritual realm.
