You are Born Again. You Struggle with Same-Sex Attraction and with Walking in Obedience. You've Prayed to be Made Obedient and for More Grace - and Nothing Happened. This Episode Looks at Why 09.07.2026 1:15:48
This episode is taken from "How I Learned to Deal with Same-Sex Attraction Biblically and all Desires of the Flesh" - a series. I explain that after years of struggling with same-sex attraction and praying to be made obedient, like a dog chasing its tail, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to what is true of all born-again believers in Jesus: the moment we were born gain/from above), the Hol...
Do You Know that Hebrew has two Words for Fear? Knowing the Difference is Foundational to Biblically Dealing with Same-Sex Attraction and all Desires of the Flesh; so is Hebrews 10:14. 07.07.2026 1:08:56
This episode is like icing on the cake for the episodes that I previously recorded about growing in the knowledge of God's attributes and what it means to fear Him. One of the Hebrew words for fear means to "run towards." The other, to "run away in terror." Which one describes you? Know this, that God doesn't want you or me, or anyone, to run away from Him in terror....
The Previous Two Episodes Presented the War Between the Flesh and the Spirit, and God Disciplines His Children as Proofs of Being Born Again. In this Episode, I Add a Heart that Cries Abba: Daddy, "The" Father. 06.07.2026 1:15:00
Galatians 5:17: the war within born-again believers in Jesus proves that someone is born again. Hebrews 12:8: God discipling His children is another proof. This is how it reads in the Amplified Bible: "Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God's children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons ( generic for male and fema...
Follow up to the Previous Episode: You Identify Yourself as a Gay Christian, Because You've Invited Jesus into Your Heart (the Sinner's Prayer) - but are You Born Again (what it Means to be a Christian)? How can You Know for Sure? 04.07.2026 1:16:18
In this episode, I share several verses that prove we are born again. I also unpack 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 and how it applies to a born-again believer who identifies as a gay Christian - and the seriousness of it before Jesus. This may be the most confronting episode that I've recorded - because confrontation is the door-opener to transformation. From my heart to yours Dennis Email: dennymrb...
You Identify Yourself as a Gay Christian, Because You've Invited Jesus into Your Heart (the Sinner's Prayer) - but are You Born Again (what it Means to be a Christian)? How can You Know for Sure? 03.07.2026 1:38:39
Far too often, praying the Sinner's Prayer to ask Jesus into one's life is thought of as the agent in becoming a Christian: to be born again. This is a condensed version: "Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I also believe that He arose from the grave. I invite Jesus into my life." I add "dangerously far too often" because t...
A Sluggish Highchair Christian and Proverbs 2:1-5: Verses that Come with Amazing Promises when we Step out of our Spiritual Highchair 26.06.2026 55:20
I recorded an earlier episode about being a highchair Christian: never learning to feed ourselves from God's Word - and shabbily short on private prayer and worship (Check it out: "The Joy of Being a Closet Christian.") In this episode, I've added "sluggish" to describe Christians who are satisfied with the present evangelical status quo: If it doesn't make you f...
Hebrews 4:15 Tells us Jesus was Tempted in All Things as We Are. Does that Mean "Every" Temptation Common to Man? 22.06.2026 1:11:23
For decades, I thought that, yes, Jesus was tempted by every temptation that is common to man (1 Corinthians 10:13). I now realize that would have meant just that: every temptation, such as Jesus being sexually attracted to a man, wanting to commit murder, rape, and abusing a child - and on and on and on. That is not what the author of Hebrews 4:15 had in mind. I take you on a journey through Scri...
I Repent and Apologize for Omitting Strategic Verses in the Episode: Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity? 21.06.2026 17:17
In this episode, I provide the verses that I omitted. They speak for themselves: Jesus didn't say anything directly about homosexuality. He provided the truth that condemns it. But it doesn't mean that He did not die for the sin of homosexuality and all that it involves - for those who turn to him in repentance and saving faith. I am living proof. Check out the episodes: "From Sexu...
Compassion that Coddles, Deceives, and Imprisons...Compassion that Convicts, is Grounded in Truth, and Transforms...Do You Know the Difference? 20.06.2026 1:15:44
This episode has the potential to open the door of a prison that masquerades as grace and is a lie. You may be in that prison, unaware of it. And I ask: Of the two kinds of compassion, which one describes your church and you? This episode may answer that question - and free you to experience transformation. This is the link to Becket Cook's "The Becket Cook Show" that I mention...
A Feminist Lesbian, now a Born-Again Believer in Christ, Helped Me to Understand Gay Affirming Churches and Seminaries 19.06.2026 54:42
Today is Friday, June 19, 2026, a beautiful morning here in Chicago, making the Windy City even more stunning. What I share in this episode is also stunning and unto the glory of Christ! Yesterday, I tuned into YouTube. Among the videos was "The Lord Removed All Doubt: A Gay-Affirming Lesbian Comes to Christ," from Becket Cook's podcast, The Becket Cook Show. The woman: Elizabeth Wo...
A Call to Prodigals to Come Home: "Do Not Fear You are Mine" (Isaiah 43:1); "I Will Not Forget You...I Have Inscribed You on the Palms of My Hands" (Isaiah 49:15-16) 18.06.2026 59:02
This is the second time I've recorded this episode. I deleted the original because I was a prodigal called home, and I want to do my best in being used by the Lord to call prodigals home from their distant countries (Luke 15:13) - and I wasn't happy with the first recording. I wanted this episode to be a better effort - although still far from perfect. Please check out "My Journey...
Have You Heard that Jesus Said Nothing (Condemning) About Homosexuality in the Gospels? Is that Blaspheming His Divinity? 17.06.2026 56:55
I usually provide a text that introduces the episode. I've decided to let the title speak for itself. Up front: This episode falls short of what has become the 11th Commandment: "Thou Shalt Nice." But "nice" can also be a door-opener to hell. This is not an easy-listening episode. Be prepared. Email: dennymrb@outlook.com
If Your Relationship with Your Parents Needs Healing, How God Healed My Relationship with My Father May Encourage You 16.06.2026 49:05
In past episodes, I've shared how God healed my relationship with my father - even like Jonah, "kicking and screaming." And I am aware that many, even most, of the men and women who tune into my podcast and are same-sex attracted have painful relationships with their parents that need healing. It is why I've recorded this episode, which focuses on my father and me and our mutua...
Are You Jealous About Spending Time Alone with God? Or is it Just a Checklist on Your Daily to-do List, Sometimes an Inconvenience? 16.06.2026 1:10:58
I am going to let the title of this episode speak for itself as you listen. Is it the road Jesus said few find, meaning Christians and not only non-Christians? And I ask, please go to YouTube and select "The Secret Walk with God that Few will ever Take," by Leonard Ravenhill. It is the title of this episode in a nutshell. Email: dennymrb@outlook.com
As David Confessed His Sins of Adultery and Murder, He Said, "Wipe Out My Guilty Deeds?" (Psalm 51:9) Why Not "Just My Sins"? 13.06.2026 55:20
This episode is a continuation and a deeper dive into the episode "What does Isaiah 53:10, Jesus Rendering Himself as a Guilt Offering Mean for You if You are Born Again"? ( In that episode, I mistakenly l quoted Isaiah 53:7; it should have been Isaiah 53:10. I've corrected it. Also, in this episode, I may have made the same mistake in the audio. I apologize. ) I take you in this e...
If Your Heart Cries Abba Father (Poppa: Romans 8:15:16) - it's Proof You've Been Executed, Resurrected, and Adopted: Born Again 12.06.2026 1:13:04
In this episode, I take you on a journey through Scripture that explains what it means to be executed, resurrected, and adopted, and that a heart that cries, "Abba," proves it. If that is not the cry of your heart, I explain why that is - even if you believe in Jesus - and what to do about it. Also, check out the episode "Born Again: So Often Misunderstood and Maligned." From...
A Call to Christians Identifying as a Gay Christian and with LGBTQ+: Come out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4) 11.06.2026 1:04:28
This episode will motivate you to repent or fill you with anger against me, so please let the episode speak for itself: in other words, the ball is in your corner. But remember this: I've lived through everything that you will hear. From my heart to yours. Email: dennymrb@outlook.com
Jesus, in John 5:39-40, Confronted the Pharisees for Thinking Eternal Life was Searching Scripture, but they Refused to Come to Him. Does that Apply to You and Me? 10.06.2026 57:20
In this episode, I share how the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the fact that I was filling my mind with Scripture, a good and necessary thing (John 17:17), and at the same time falling short of what Jesus said in John 17:3 is eternal life: now! I take you on that journey, which continues to this day and will continue every day thereafter. I pray that you will join me, if you aren't already th...
What Does Isaiah 53: 10, Jesus Rendered Himself a Guilt Offering Mean for You if You are Born Again (John 3:3)? 08.06.2026 58:13
On Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, I was reading Psalm 34:22 to prepare myself for the worship service at my home church, Chicago's Park Community Church South Loop, Pastor Raef Chenery (Check out his sermons on YouTube; just enter the name of the church. I've never had a pastor unpack Scripture as he does.). On that Sunday morning, it was as if I were reading the verse for the first time:...
Why Would an Evangelical Pastor Identify a Parishioner Attracted to the Same Sex a Gay Christian? 06.06.2026 1:10:57
Regarding the question in the title of this podcast, I believe there are many reasons, which I discuss in this episode. At the top of the list is the lack of an in-depth understanding of sanctification in a born-again believer's life, and in the pastor's own life. The recent "fall" of a cadre of evangelical pastors proves that you can't pastor a church and disciple others...
Speaking to Christians who Identify as Gay Christians: Is the Rainbow Flag Your Banner or the Cross of Jesus Christ? 06.06.2026 32:59
In this episode, I make it clear that if you are trying to play both ends against the middle by identifying with the rainbow flag and the cross, because you identify yourself as a gay Christian, you are sinning. Why? They are more than mutually exclusive; they are eternally exclusive. The so-called rainbow flag speaks of rebellion against God's creation ordinances of sexuality, gender, and ma...
Israel as a Nation Hosted a Gay Celebration, 6/1 through 6/4 Near the Site of Sodom and Gomorrah 06.06.2026 3:29
I am writing this on June 6, 2026. I woke up around 3 am, signed in on YouTube, and a video popped up: "There is No Way- Israel to Host Pride City near Sodom and Gomorrah 2026." Were Sodom and Gomorrah real places that God destroyed with fire and brimstone because of their shameless acts of sexual perversion? Read the Epistle of Jude 1: 4-7. The video contains an archaeologist proving t...
The Book of 1 Chronicles Chapter 12:32: A Call to Christians and Pastors to Quit Acting Like Lot Did in Sodom 05.06.2026 22:38
This episode is a continuation of the episode "Way Too Many Christians, Including Pastors, Live Like Lot in Sodom Vexed by Modern Sodom and Like Lot Do Not Stand Against the Perversion Until It Knocks at the Front Door" (2 Peter 2:7-8). This episode is a call to "put off Lot" and put on the men described in 1 Chronicles 12:32. Email: dennymrb@outlook.com
Way too Many Christians, Including Pastors, Live Like Lot in Sodom, Vexed by Modern Sodom and Like Lot do not Stand Against the Perversion Until it Knocks at the Front Door 05.06.2026 1:03:38
Please check out this episode to see if you are a modern-day Lot living in modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah, sitting at your city gate, vexed but silent (2 Peter 2:7-8). And if you are, I exhort you to do something about it: Starting now! And if modern-day Sodom found its way into your home with your children, know that it is time to trust God to make up for what seems lost but can be redeemed in Chr...
Romans 8:7: the Mind Set on the Flesh is Hostile Toward God. The Condition of Fallen Humanity? Or a Choice We Make? 04.06.2026 50:57
In this episode, I take you on a journey through Scripture for the answer. My finding the answer is one of the reasons I recorded this podcast. Because the answer is foundational to building your house, my house, your Christian life, my Christian life, so we will stand against the storms that want to topple YOU and ME (Matthew 7:24-27). Satan's storms. The storms of the flesh? Sickness. Suffe...
