A bit late, but for Halloween Ben and Hank each picked a film to build this double feature. Ben chose Roger Corman’s The Masque Of the Red Death (1964) starring Vincent Price and Hank picked Little Otik (2000) directed by Jan Švankmajer. We had some thoughts. Can you guess which one was more cereal friendly? Email: SaltCirclePodcast@gmail.com Twitter: @SaltCirclePod Hank's Twitter: @ComicPanels Be...

WARNING THIS IS NOT A NORMAL EPISODE. Why is this a Labor Day episode 10 days after Labor Day? No reason. Ben and Hank finally record the commentary track they've been talking about for weeks. Turns our it for the movie Rubber. Rubber is a movie about a killer tire. But it's also incredibly, insufferably meta. It doesn't so much break the fourth wall as it is a movie built around the 4th wall. Thi...

They were this close to doing a video commentary. The minor technical issues were solved, and then… Ben and Hank decided to just talk about Magic the gathering instead of watching a movie. So it goes. Also, Ben already cracked a beer. Email: SaltCirclePodcast@gmail.com Twitter: @SaltCirclePod Hank's Twitter: @ComicPanels Ben's Twitter: @Bean_LP Logo Artist: bellamy.world/

This week Bean and Hank were going to do an Old Movie episodes, but the old movies were too long so that plan was put off. Then they were going to just record a movie commentary but technical issues also made that unfeasible as the movie file took forever to process. So they just turned on the microphones and had a chat. Obviously this lead to a bunch of Magic the Gathering talk because of course....

We’re back! Again! This time it was Hank moving that disrupted the schedule. So it goes. This week we’re doing a belated Book Club episode and talking about one of Hank’s absolute favorite kid’s books A Barrel of Laughs A Vale of Tears by Jules Feiffer. Then, since Ben happened to have watched all three John Wick movies for the first time over the hiatus they talk about those for a while.   And then they end on Star Wars ta...

Originally planned as the first part of a series on old movies to air while Ben was away, those plans proved too ambitious and we didn’t get the other recordings done. WARNING THIS IS NOT A NORMAL EPISODE.   This week Ben and Hank are talking over a Youtube playlist of various Godzilla and Godzilla-related material. Yes really. If you want to follow along the link is below. Because this is a commentary track for copyrighted material on Youtube there is a chance the playlist is no longer available in the future so there is an ephemeral nature to this podcast...
