We look at 2 more pieces of armor that Paul mentions for the Christian to put on in Ephesians 6.

The Armor of God is the focus of this message. The first two pieces, the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. The armor is not just something God gives but really it is Jesus' armor that he has worn and proven its worth which he gives to us.

It has been said that the Christian life is not a playground but a battleground. The Christians battle is not against flesh and blood. What do we do? How do we endure? We see in this message in Ephesians.

The Christian is called to point to Jesus. Sometimes that can be even under hard circumstances. What does that look like to live the gospel out?

The Apostle uses the analogy of taking off the old self and being made new in Jesus Christ. In this message we see what does that look like.

Ephesians 4:17-20 The Apostle Paul continues talking about the Christian life. The Christian is called to live differently.

What does growth of the church look like? Is it numbers or a bigger budget? Paul tells us that it is something different- looking to the fullness of Christ.

The diversity of the body of Christ comes with the different gifts of grace to be used for the edification and equipping of the church.

The Apostle Paul goes from pointing out how much the church (the believers) have in common because of Jesus to what makes us unique is that different gifts that have been given to the Christian.

We look at why we have unity within the church. The way of unity is what Paul mentioned in the verses preceding this message. We see the Triune God who is one and how the church is one.

In the book of Ephesians, chapter 4 transitions into what it looks like to live the gospel out. Paul expresses the greatness of Jesus and his grace to now what does it look like in the life of a Christian.

The doxology to Paul's 2nd prayer in the book of Ephesians. God who is able to do far more abundantly than we can ask or think.

Paul's 2nd prayer to God is pointing to the strength to grasp Christ's love for us.

We enter Paul's 2nd prayer to God for the church. This week Pastor Mike Barksdale shows Paul's prayer is focused on spiritual strength, Ephesians 3:14-16.

Paul uses the word mystery to describe how God's redemptive plan for mankind includes the Gentiles. This mystery was revealed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Christian's foundation is built on Jesus, sustained and held together by Jesus, and unites other believers together.

The resurrection changed everything. We celebrate this Easter with reminding ourselves that Jesus is alive!
