When we realize that death is coming, we can come closer to gaining the right perspective on life. When death comes, all earthly opportunity will be over; but as long a we have life, there is hope that our lives will be given to God and used for His glory. God's Word says, "A living dog is better than a dead lion." This expression helps us to see the importance of the life God has given us.

Life is connected with death, because in life we must prepare for death.
