In this podcast, I'm reading Hannah Smith testimony she drafted in 1887, that was part of a book published in 1888 entitled "Forty Witnesses" by S. Olin Garrison. I've attached the entire book, now in the public domain on our website (revivalnow.church).

I'm included a model prayer that Hannah included in her wonderful book The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life . If your desire to have a happy life in Christ, may this prayer call you to a full consecration to Jesus and an absolute trust in His faithfulness to bring you into a deeper union with Jesus.

Here's a quick overview on backsliding. Backsliding is very often a subtle pulling away from Jesus. It can be indiscernible for a long period of time, resulting in self-induced deception. The good news is that Jesus can heal us from our backsliding (read the book of Hosea). Most backsliding goes undetected, making it even more lethal than it already is.
