Mark 7:1-9,13,....Jesus talked about our regards for traditions, doctrines religious ceremonies and rituals. There is nothing wrong with these things in themselves for they provide clues to religious insight. The only thing wrong is when we gradually replace them with genuine connection to God....

Are your speeches or the words that comes out of your mouth God honouring? It's not too late, the potter promised to give us new heart and put His Spirit withing us Ezekiel 36: 26&27....the process may be long and somewhat painful but the end result is a NEW you....

Matthew 12:34-36,....Jesus explained how an evil heart can not bring itself to produce graciousness and that is because it is not it's way of life.....moral conduct or conversation is difficult to fake for very long....sooner or later, an unkind spirit shows what he/she is made of...

A lot of us in the kingdom are still battling our formal ways of life or pre-Christ living that did not glorify God......I mean, to say we have gotten born again for donkey years and these old lifestyles remains may mean we are just going through the motions of religion.....2 Timothy 3:1-5

Have you ever been there? In a situation where what you least expected was a deliverance, breakthrough or salvation of a loved one's soul.....we have many of those moments in the bible.....let's review them together .....

Jonah 4:1-5, 8-11,.....maybe the prophet got many things wrong when it came to him going down to Nineveh to preach but he got the one crucial thing right on point....the mercy of God.....it's everlasting....

1 Kings 18:41-46.....cloud the size of a man's hand was a small evidence,..as good as none but was enough for Elijah....have prayed about things and have only seen small clouds? Embrace it, for it's about to give abundance of rain🌧🌧

Multiple times in the scriptures, believers are reminded of the importance of thanksgiving..Giving thanks was an habit for Jesus Christ and should be for us too....He gave thanks before feeding the 4&5 thousand and before raising Lazarus of bethany....the result?? Listen and study with us....God bless.....

John 9:1-6....I'm sure we all at one point or another played the game of assumption.....it's a dangerous game...it's when we think we've got others all figured out and we're right about what we assume is wrong with them.....the disciples did the same but Jesus explained it was not so....

John 6:24-30.....clearly, the crowd weren't getting what Jesus was all about... He wanted true followers and not fan who were there for the benefit....He also knew a fan is unable to grasp the things of the spirit.....1 Corinthians 2:14.....

A fan is an admirer of a performer while a follower is a disciple who sticks their head in the game, come what may. Matthew 19:16-22,...here we see an admirer (a fan) who came to Jesus but full of sadness when he left because he was not ready to stay around and give his all.....

1 Samuel 2:22-24, 27-30...If the lord were to challenge you and i with the standard He did Eli, how well do you think you'll do? Let's all answer that before that before God and make amends if need be....

We thank the Lord for what HE has done so far with the study of the word....it's good to balance it with prayer....1 thessalonians 5:17....Let us pray....🙏🙏🙏

Deuteronomy 11:18-20....I have come to realise that several things are repeated in various forms in the scriptures.....and that's because they're important things God wants us to grab....for we can be stiff- necked and hard hearted and therefore it calls for repetition....

There is a manner in which we have been commanded by God to raise another generation of faith in order for the baton of faith to be passed on.....it's written all over the scriptures but we shall take a look and study from ....Deuteronomy 6:1-9

Acts 24:22-27.....what have you delayed or put on hold till now that you should have confronted a long while ago? Rely on God's strength today and face up to it.....

Luke 15:11-24 is another interesting story that can be related to our 'know it all' attitude like the lost son who thought he had what to it takes to survive on his own in a far away land but thank God for His limitless love to celebrate wanderers.....

The word lost in biblical term describes the spiritual state of anyone who is yet to receive Christ as their saviour.....Luke 19:1-10 such was the case of Zacchaeus....though wealthy but empty......Jesus found him and called him by name.....

Numbers 13:27-33,14:5-10 The spies' report was good at first in that they all agreed the land flowed with milk and honey but that was soon to change as they allowed fear over-rule.....but not Caleb, for he had a different spirit.......of faith....Nubers 14:24....

The disciples had their minds prepared for troubles that laid ahead,...maybe not the intensity of it but at least, the saviour warned them in John 16:33....this made the pursue peace the more and God made it available to them...

Listen to a short story of peace displayed by a friend even in the midst of the world's chaos and see if you as a believer display that much peace in trials....God bless you
