It is important that we round up our prayer series with this sub-topic because prayer is a two and not one way conversation.....1 kings 19:5,8-13. Do you wait in silence before God to give you a response?🤔🤔.....why don't you start today, laying, kneeling or sitting in quietness before the lord...He longs to speak to us.....

Jesus taught His disciples two very important facts about prayer. They are: confidence and persistence. Confidence in that He told them to pray the heavenly father like we saw yesterday in Luke 11:1-4. Today, let's go back to Luke and learn about persistence.....vs 5-10....🙏🙏🙏🙏

Luke 11:1-4....what legacy do you plan on handling down to the next generation? If you want to leave behind a prayer legacy like Jesus did His disciples and us, you need to model it...study with us....🙏🙏🙏🙏

John 11:1-6....paying attention to the relationship Jesus had with Mary, Martha and Lazarus of Bethany, one would have thought He'd rush there upon hearing the news of His sick friend....what kept Jesus back two more days??🤔🤔🤔.....Study with us.

John 2:1-5...the wedding at Cana in Galilee was going to turn into an embarrassment for the host but for Jesus intervention at the RIGHT time....He didn't rush into performing a miracle just to suit/meet up with their own timing.. listen and study with us......

Exodus 12:21-23....when the angel of death was on a visit to Egypt, the only group of people that escaped the destroyer were the ones who marked their door posts with the lamb's blood....do you also plead the blood of Jesus on yourself and loved ones? It's the best form of protection and it's a wise choice.

We all know that our link with the original sin in eden garden of God stained our blood and we were sentenced to death but Jesus declared in Matthew 26:28, that His shed blood is for "many" for the forgiveness of their sin....will you take up the offer to be clothed in His righteousness?.....

Do you know that there's one who understands the roles Jesus ' blood plays than you do? The enemy....it scares him...Revelation 12:11 says that's the best way to defeat the enemy.....approach God through the route of the blood (of Christ) today...

Leviticus 17:11 tells us of the value or importance of blood. Blood in human body supplies oxygen and nutrients to every cell.....can you now imagine what the blood of Jesus does in the spiritual? It has saved us from the wrath we deserved, the eternal separation from God....study with us....

John 3:22-31.....John shifted people's focus from himself and exalted the supremacy of Christ....do you proclaim Christ the same way? As much as it is good to be honouring and respectful, let's try not to build around personalities,....let Jesus be the focus.

John's job description was to be a forerunner (Isaiah 40:3) and by the time we come to John 1:19-27, he did exactly that. He prepare the heart of the people for something greater that was about to surface.....John pointed out Christ will do much more than what he was doing which was a form of ritual in comparison...

Galatians 5:16&17 tells us to walk in the spirit so as not to fulfill/gratify the lust of the flesh......but how.....let's see how Jesus our ultimate example did that in Matthew 4:3-11. You get the picture? Jesus fired back the word.....how's your bible reading and prayer life? Are you filled with the spirit?🤔🤔🤔

Proverbs 1:10, proverbs 7:4-8.....our guy here has been asked not to consent to sinners beckoning or enticement but since he was devoid of understanding, he yielded.....read the whole of proverbs 7 to find out what became of him....friends, DON'T GO THERE! James 1:13-16,....unfortunately, the enemy has assigned certain things and people to feed our areas of weaknesses and vulnerability.(desires). Infact, we have plenty of them today and that's why we need to be discerning as children of God in order to identify, target and deal with them as they come....

There is something that can help us on this topic. And that is to go back and check the first time anyone was tempted in the scripture. Genesis 3:1,6....there's a point in each verse that we have to carefully consider,....🤔🤔....study with us....

1 Corinthians 15:33 makes it clear what happens when we go with the wrong crowd and Proverbs 22:24&25 even explains it better; that is we are at risk of being affected and infected by wrong kind of friendship. Will you prayerfully consider the question in the bracket today?🙏🙏🙏

1 Samuel 18:1-4....is a true and good model for genuine friendship especially if you read up to the 20th chapter....both friends (David and Jonathan) stood with and by each other. Friends, isn't it time you start aligning yourself with genuine and godly friends while you start being one to somebody? Think and pray for wisdom......🤔🤔🙏🙏

Today, let's take a careful look at the effort made by four loyal friends of a paralytic and the result from the gospel according to Mark 2:1-4..look around or think about your circle of friends.....what are they to you? What are you to them? Faithful, honest, patient, loyal,etc? Think about it 🤔🤔

Friendship: the act of cultivating or being friends....the need for friendship is well established among all people but for the believer, it is one of those tools God uses to build us up(proverbs 27:17), so...who is/are your friends? For best definition of friendship, check John 15:13.....

Psalm42:11, Isaiah 40:28-31.....friends as we come to the end of this topic/series, i want you to know that things to worry about will always surface but as children of God(believers in the lord Jesus), we have to choose the alternatives/strategies in order to win....David and Isaiah tells us to "hope and wait ".....while Paul tells us to "trust".....The strategies? Trust, Hope &Wait....
